heck, the Egyptians believed everyone had an afterlife, and they still needed to have their body if they wanted to experience it..I don't believe that either humans or animals go to heaven or hell, but if humans did, animals should to, since they also have spirits and were (supposedly) created by God. At least that's what I would say if I were a Christian. Since I'm not, I'm just speaking hypothetically. K?
Personally I have a split thought to after lives, I think we might have after lives then again I think once your dead your dead, in the ground or in a pot above a fire place.
Animals can't go to heaven they don't have souls. humans do cause we were made in God's image. If they would they would probably go to hell cause we can't talk to animals so tehy couldn't hear about God.

That would be so harsh just to live your life as nature intended (or as a pet) oblivious to anything past instincts and the like then you die and go into the ol' lake of fire.

WTH,, there is no god first of all, and no soul crap, we are animals ourselfs, we are made up of cells just like them we are connected to one and other by dna. We can't talk to animals they can't talk to us, same with every other species. God isn't real, if there was any almighty god then strike me down. If there was a god then why are thousands of people are starving, war, and disease. Humans are animals, we are a species just like them.
Although humans were created to be God-like, we are now sinful and unlike God in our morality (Rom. 3:10, 23). Nevertheless, we are still considered to be in God's image (Gen. 9:6; God loves humans.
