I am fairly sure I believe in god but I'm just not sure that any church has got it right. I believe that there aren't any real set rules to be good and it's all situation sensitive. I also don't believe that worship should be in a group setting and that it's all up to the specific person as to how they pray. What are everybody elses thoughts?

I would have to say that I agree to a certain extent. I think there are some rules that may work in any situation, but religion is also a very personal thing. Believing in Christianity, for instance, would require simply the belief that Christ is the Messiah, that he was raised from the dead, etc. Other denominations of Christianity, while having some rather big differences, don't differentiate on their savior. So long as one was following Christ, I'm sure it wouldn't matter how they prayed or what traditions they upheld. So I'd have to say that you've got a very good mindset, in that you've actually taken the time to think about religion and believe in God while not following the traditions of other religions.

Sorry, this is pretty akin to several other threads that pose the same question. Perhaps this conversation can be carried on in one of those?
