I just hope it isnt as boring as the the first one, because after the first 3 kills deep down you kinda knew it was going to be the same thing over and over again.
FINALY! I've been waiting for this thread to pop up! I did'nt know if anyoune had posted one yet. @DDX: I think you're right, it did get a bit boring after the first few missions, and... kinda, extreemly repetative... It was still fun, though! @afroninja: I beleive it actually has been confirmed by bisoft Montreal that Ezio, Altair, and Desmond are all related in some way, but you have to figure out the connection within the game. Anyway, I don't know if any of you order GameInformer, but they had a great review of the game so far. I can't wait till this game comes out!
Saw this game in my Game Informer Magazine and I am totally getting it when it comes out. I like pretty much everything about it that you've listed thanks for the info.
Stop posting here, every time I see this topic I die a little on the inside because my xbox got the red ring. I love Assassin's Creed. Why red ring? WHY?!
*You can post here if you want, I was only kidding*
If they truly fixed the repetitive nature of the first one, I might consider giving this one a go. I didn't make it past the third city in the original Assassin's creed because I was bored beyond belief.
I am not too hyped on Assassins Creed 2. If it takes 11 seconds to scan the city, I ain't buying it. To just look at all the cities, it takes 3 hours! It also lost its fun after 3 days. I do like the sound of the second one. You get Leonardo Da Vinci helping you. One of the greatest minds in the history of mankind.

Ouch. I once thought I got red ringed. It was just my mind playing tricks on me. I was on the floor doing about the same thing you just said NoName but I got up and became happy when it was green.

In the Game Informer article they said that you'll never have to do the same thing twice to find out info about the target. I hope Ubisoft Montreal keeps to that promise.

*Fingers crossed*
That and the actual assassinations got dull and repetitive. I got to a point where I would just stealth around a town and then just start killing people for no reason. Then avoid the guards, or kill them. Rinse and repeat.
this is his name Ezio --full name Ezio Auditore de Firenze--will apparently have a number of weapons to choose from, including "an axe, a hammer, a mace, a spear, two different sword types, a [halberd], and two smaller blades." Each weapon is said to have a special move associated with it, and Ezio will be able to disarm opponents and use their fumbled weaponry against them. The post goes on to state that Assassin's Creed 2 will also include a number of holdover mechanics from the original, including tower climbing and horseback riding, and assassinations can now reportedly be performed while Ezio is concealed in a stack of hay. Hidden objects will also return, though the report indicates that players will gain in-game benefits by hunting them down this time around.
you can swim the water and use it to hide you and to seek out and assassinate aslo you can use any of the 6-8 weapons in the game but dont know what they are look in gameinformer newist magazines
this is what he and you will look like in the game!
Ya, I read that. You can start out with a rescue, and depending on what you do during the mission, events buld up and you end up having to assassinate someone... it sounnds very confusing... but still cool, better than missions in first game. I only play assassins creed now to see how awesome I can make my sprints, or trying to fall off of temples and land on people
