I also have high respect for Akerfeldt- he can do death metal, as well as more calm rock songs- many, like Coil or Burden, being completely clean-vocalled and having acoustic interludes and stuff. -------
Why are you complaining just because you don't listen to it doesn't mean that you have to bash on it. I probably don't like your music either!
I mean, some of it is good and actually has a point. Most of it doesn't. Most of it fails to entertain or make any point worth the time it takes to comprehend not only what the singer/"artist" is saying, but what they actually mean, if anything at all is meant by the lyrics.
I love death metal, because when I'm so insanely angry that I want to throw a lamp or something, I listen to the 3-minute-long "GRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" and it makes me feel better.
I don't like the vocals and the guitar riffs in death metal simply cuz i can't enjoy them but i do respect death metal artists cuz it does take talent to do that kind of music. I listen to Arch enemy though cuz the vocals arent so deep and the riffs are more melodic.
