Don't the people of Armor Games think that you guys should get more Armor points for comments, ratings, and forum posts?

I am surprised that this hasn't been locked...

SPAMMERS! Without points you won't have these. Also nobody would be stuffed doing it!

First of all the comments and ratings shouldbe enabled after you play a game. Secondly, though some people might spam if this is activated, you should get more points for how long you have written a comment or posted. Thirdly I think its fine the way it is right now. Cheaters for points will keep posting till they have 100'000'000, if the points are raised to like five points a comment or rate.

And with all those problems are moderators will have so much problems that they will work there but off. One of the few good things about points are unlocking more stuff and ranking up. I too am surpirsed this isnt locked.

Every single thing about how the points work is fine. The website managers don't need to change anything because it would not be fair to others who cant go online as much.

Spammers would get so much points by stuffing there time into commenting useless stuff like "good game." Or "lame."
Thats the bad thing about the points we get right now.
They would just get a word and post, yet there not caught.
If we do get more points this might lead to some people thinking that it's no use anymore.

There is a good side and a bad side to this all.

Wrong word actually, but it wasn't necessary for another post. Now I consider that as spam.

The first post was good.

Here's a list of things I hate about AG in no order:
Spam
Spammers
Flames
New members who say 'We need moar points for things'. Obviously they don't realize they wouldn't be any higher ranked.
New members who try to submit a game that they like
New members that make a thread because the game they didn't make but they submitted wasn't accepted
kingryan

That's about it.

It'll be had to code for the system that way. In all there are about 500,000 posts on AG. How many mods do we have? 8. It's not possible to shift through them all. And if you say use a bot, how does a bot know which comments are good and bad? Take for an example, if you want to consider good comments as 20+ words or more. People can still spam the same words/phrases/sentences to get the extra credit.

The current system of points is still good, and let's face it, commenting and posting is not just for the sake of getting higher ranks and AP. It'll also be unfair to older users who used the old system.

Yeah, these things are all thorns in the bed of roses that AG is. If you want points, work for them, like all the old members that have been for the [ast few years/months.

The funny thing is that even if you raised the points bar, the ranking bars should also be changed, otherwise the whole place would be full of gold kings.

Plus, this idea defeats its own purpose. Look if you raise the points per comment, the higher rankers still get more points. The ranking will still be the same. The only thing that will help you claw up the ranks is by being more active, not increasing the amount of points.

Just to add on.
Did you mean increase the proportion of points, increase the general number of points, or increase the points for posting.

Completely right, otherwise the top 50 would all be gold kings, or anybody(If the AP amount were doubled) with over 8750 AP would be a gold king.

So many people cheat on highscores you couldn't count them. look at kongregate: The hacking got so bad they attempted to make a vigilante party who wanted the power to change the highscores to reduce hacking.

see, a bot isn;t a human: The reason robots aren't so amazing at the moment is because they can't think for themselves. Instead, they have to be programed to understand things and only learn slowly or not at all. We command computers. So a bot would have to be filled with hundreds of thousands of commands to show even the likeness of the human brain power. And it would still be inaccurate. Plus, I could write a completely illogical paragraph with big words and a few sentences that make a bit sense, and make loads of points for a crappy post.

really, it would not matter. If one post was worth a millon points or one point. Sense it is the same for every one, you would go up no faster...unless you spammed.

Yes, because we would all still be the same ranks, except with more points. You can only go up ranks if you comments, write in the forums or(As skater suggests) spamz owr swite Armorgames.
