As i was going through the AG games as i do...

I noticed a link...

The link lead to a 'russian dating webcam site'.

didnt think this was very apropriate.

Especially kids at my age. (Im 12)

So id like to ask if you could prehaps take away the link?

Was it an ad? If it wasn't, i.e it was on someone's profile/comment, maybe you can flag it.

I don't think dating webcam sites is appropriate either... Especially Russian ones!

Follow these steps!

1) Contact a moderator about this (or Carlie!).
2) Go to that website and contact the creator.
3) Tell him/her about stop advertising.
4) Scratch your head and wait for a reply...
5) Wait some more till you die of age... Yup yup.

Also, I hate these ads! So many ones!

Technically, there is only one way to really solve inappropriate ads:

Armorgames has to get a bunch of permanent sponsors. I believe that most of the ads you see here are from Google, and it is an income for many sites who show it.

I have one thing to say: Saying you would like them removed because you are 12, in a page where membership goes from 13 and up... Yeah, I know you talked to Carlie, but take it like a man, huh? Unless you visit all the ads.
Get adblocker on FF, then you are fine.

Kind of needless to say. I might not be 13, but at least I'm not dumb enough to click on one of the links.

Seriously, not something you should try and experience. Look the other way.

Anyway, those kinds of ads are only a problem if you think it look cool, and click the link. And then it is pretty much your own responsibility.

yes, and as a warning: Don't click ads in the first place. it's a dangerous game you play when you click one. a trip into the unknown.

I think he talked with Carlie about it.

And my adblocker works just fine. Actually I cannot remember when I last saw an ad on FF. And I miss it a little when using IE.

but anyways these ads can be dealt with by getting Firefox and a proper add-on that blocks these ads.

It is the one and only way, seemingly.

yes OK I just did a quick comparison on the two and here are my final results...

No ads or signs that they ever existed

Ads that are there, but simply covered up, plus ads that you can't even block because they are images(mainly just one image)

So overall flashblock is a nice filter since it gets rid of many of the ads, but as long as you have subscribed to a filter with ad blocks plus then well...there is a clear winner here.

Anyways back to teh main subject at hand use ad blocking program, gets rid of ads simple as that. Seriously though I have seen a growing number of complaints about ads lately though...it makes me kind of glad I have ad blocks plus already.
