I heard that they are making a SWB3 (Star Wars Battle Front 3 view the link below to view the forum topic on SWB3) http://armorgames.com/community/thread/3359091/star-wars-battlefront-3 And in SWB3 they might make Obi Wan Turn to the dark side. Thats all I heard. Tell me what you think and I'll go give the writers a piece of my mind (just kiddin'
Sounds more like fan fiction to me! Talentless hacks I say- wait- somebody already pointed out that it's basically fan fiction? He even used the phrase "talentless hack"? Darn, I've got nothing.
I lied: Where all the problems start is allowing other people to get at an original fiction universe. Much better to let the franchise die than allow fans to get there grubby mits on it. They destroy everything they touch and letting them take part in the canon just encourages them.
Star wars should just make like Marvel and declare everything non-canon and start over.
I think it it stinks they would do this. Just because the writers are out of material doesn't mean that they have to turn there best character to the dark side. I mean the whole Star Wars stories revolve around him and Anikan/Darth Vader why would they do this? If they do this now that means in A New Hope, Luke Skywalker won't find him in the dessert. Has anyone thought of that? Even if he does Obi Wan would just kill him because the bad dudes hate Jedi's. This is a horrible twist. I seriously hope they don't do this because if they do I won't even bother to SWB3.
Before any Star Wars storylines are added in games/movies/tv/whatever George Lucas has to approve personally. I highly doubt Obi Wan would turn to the Dark Side. It simply wouldn't make any sense with regards to the rest of the story.
Lucas Arts does incredibly outrageous things to their games and movies all the time just because Lucas thinks it will make him money. I almost wouldn't be surprised if they made obi-wan a sith.
Obi Wan turning to the Dark Side isn't a good idea, unless it's an alternative ending, that's reasonable. If you've played Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith the alternative ending was messed up, but it was pretty cool.
