I have yet to try out Mac or Linux, but have seen people use Mac and found that it looks like it has some advantages to it. Still I have Windows Vista Ultimate, but I may eventually get a Mac as an additional computer, though the problems I have with Macs is that they still are not compatible with a lot of software, even though they are compatible with other programs that are not compatible on Windows, there are many more programs that are not compatible with the Mac, and the price/performance ratio, as well as how much you can customize the specs on the computer seem limited when buying from their site in comparison to say a Dell.(I did a comparison maybe a week ago of the two computers and found out some of this on my own though there is a small difference in price for performance it still exists) Anyways I have Vista Ultimate and it has yet to give me too many issues, except I can't use some free to download programs and I originally had Windows XP and admittedly it ran a little faster on there, but of course I am using Windows Aero, and all so this is not much of a surprise. I remembering my friend and I in Computer Systems Technology class were actually joking the Mac and the Mojave Experiment today, though I still know little about Linux, besides it being nice for more customization.
My history of computers windows 98 windows xp linux ubuntu for some time i had this and xp then only this linux kubuntu with a new hard drive in the same computer (these are similar but different kubuntu and ubuntu) I love linux!
I have Windows. Windows is by far the worst computer by any standards (although it takes first place in shittiness standards, although it is the cheapest; in the long run, though, it saves much more money to get a mac than a pc and having to fix it for about $100 every single year.) My favorite is the Mac, because I haven't tried Linux. I've heard Linux is really great, but hard to navigate and stuff. The only problem with Macs is that many great games can only be played on PC's; maybe one or two of my vast collection of CD-ROM games I got from yard sales actually work on Macs.
