I know there is allready about 25 million topics like this, but I couldn't find one after looking a bit, so I decided to make this one. As the topic suggests, this is about Reward Armatars. Many great suggestions have come up, such as getting some for earning a certin amount of Merits. Or mabey by subbmiting a game. These are all great ideas, but merit rewards might lead to spam, and not everyone has the tools to make a game avalible to them. I think my favorite suggestion was gettting a set of armatars after a user has been a member on AG for a year. This is open to flexibility such as rewards for being a member for 6 months, or how ever long it is decided. I made this thread so users could talk about the award for being a member for a certin amount of time suggestion. You can talk about any reward armatar suggestions, but please stay on topic. Once again, I am aware that there are other threads like this one, so we just make this the offical Reward Armatar thread if it ok with everyone. Allright, that's enough talk from me. Now I want to hear from you. Do you have any suggestions? If you do, then please feel free to post them here.
Hmmm... you mean like an anniversary gift for the user? That would be pretty sweet. But I wouldn't like one for no.of posts or comments. This will like you said earlier on lead to spam...But rewards for merits are alright due to the hardwork the users put in. Besides, merits are moderator approved =]
Just an idea. You get a reward after a year, on the day you made your account. Then you wear it as a badge of being a veteran of the site. =]
It would be pretty cool. I reckon merit awards would be okay, because you don't just get them. Game rewards wouldn't be necessary, because game devs don't really do much here.

The idea of having a special armatar when you have been a member of Armor Games for 1 year, 12 months, is a great one. What about a special armatar for what first letter you have in your user name? For me it would be a glittery "Z". Maybe a glittery "P" for Pazx? If your name begins with a "_" then it would be a glittery "_".

I'm pretty sure that other people thought about it at the same time or mabey even before you... But if you look at my 1st post, I'm pretty sure I explained that it wasn't my idea... I just said it might lead to spam because alot of AG users said it might in other threads.
I liked the idea. Why merits make spam???? I didn't understand it... There could be an armatar section, and you get armatars from 1 merit, 5 merits, 10 merits, 25 merits, 50 merits, and 100 merits. I think it would make users to write merit worth comments. Great idea!
Armatars for merits are the best option. They may inspire people to make more comments, but if they were really trying to earn a merit (whether they should or not), it would not result in more spam.
The anniversary Armatar is also good, even if it affects ghost accounts. But they're technically dead, so whatever..

I think that's a better possible system of rewards.
Armatars for merits may increase spam. Though the people who do not know how to write a merit worthy review are the ones who will contributing to most of the spam. So, probably if they are told how to write a merit worthy review, they may try to actually write a real merit worthy review.
merits are earned from writing a well thought out comment on a game, explaining the balance of the items in the game or something else and im also pretty new, But yes we should have more armatars for merits and uploading games.
