You pay about 10$ for three months or whatever, and you get loads of new goodies, such as premium only armatars, a special star next to your username EVERYWHERE, no advertisements, those are just a few ideas!
So what do you think? It could actually help to support the site in a huge way.
No offense, but I think Armor Games makes enough money and that they will probably lose a lot of there players if they aren't able to get everything in the site unless you have to pay...

If it was only those small things, then nobody (other than the people that already donate (basically noone)) will pay. I don't think it can work well... Although I personally would like what you suggest. No advertisements, armatar, and a little notice.

Well, there's more things that can be put, but those are the basic things you could get from donating, and it doesn't have to be a big amount, maybe donate $5.00 and get the status for life, at least it would help support.
i disagree also, some user's here are from another nation . and is really troubling to pay in another far location.. plus we want this free.. and those ads are just fine.. not much of a bother plus.. they keep armor games running. and it's fine that this is FREE.. it will attract more and more users.. = some will click the advertisements .. then poof.. no problem with user payment. at all

If they can't pay, then don't pay? It doesn't restrict non-paying users from anything special, it's just saying that they helped support armorgames. Why won't you people understand that. People would not leave because you can pay for extra benefits, the benefits have no effect on the non paying users, there is no restrictions to games, just no advertisements, maybe a star, and special armatars, that doesn't make people want to leave.
The thing is, I can't think of any features they could add to the website. So it would mean that they would block some of the features we already have, like foruming and commenting. And that would mean a non paying user has nothing to do.

Alright alright, calm down. There are certain things you have to accept and not get too attached to. In this case, you have to accept that some users dislike the notion of premium accounts by principle because of what they symbolise. The other is that there are certain kinds of site that are suited better to kind of this system out of necessity, and this doesn't appear to be one of them.
That users may disagree with your statement does not necessarily indicate that your idea is a bad one because what constitutes a good or a bad idea depends on who might implement it. In short, less CAPS, and less panicking.
To prevent Tom from completely losing it, Zega, you've misunderstood. The idea was to offer the OPTION of a premium account, so one wouldn't have to pay, rather they'd pay and get extra benefits.

It would inevitably lead to problems with subscribing trolls and flamers, which Ag would have to either ban and lose support from them. Also, the extra features would really ruin the AP aspect of progression-giving spoecial armatars for money would lessen the excitement of getting to the point where you get a better armatar.
