Well unlike most of the population i buy most music off itunes instead of dl them off of lime wire... I appreciated there being a way to buy music for a pretty cheap price with out having to leave my house, and not having to dl stuff illegally. So i was kinda thankful of itunes. But now its kinda starting to piss me off. I go to there store, and it's like they've gone over all great songs from the past and increased them from 99c to $1.29. Now it doesn't seem like much, but i try to make myself only spend 10$ every month on music from itunes, and its decreasing from 10 songs to 6 or 7.. Now im just wondering, do you think that they are ripping us off for songs?
It might be because the lost buisness in Japan. Since Japan is technologicly way ahead of us they ran apple into the ground. Japan is like on a 4G network.
i dont really use itunes much i tend to just get my own cds or borrow stuff from my m8 ( he pretty much has similar taste in music) because i can never find the songs i want on it and when i do its recorded by some1 else or its a music video wich is like £1.39 weras a song is usually only 89p
i heard on the news one day that some things will go up and not be 99 cents anymore
Yes, at the beginning of April their new prices became 69 cents for some songs, 99 cents for most, and then $1.29 for others. It's all decided by the artist's record label though. Just like how they decide how much a CD costs, they decide how much their songs cost on iTunes.
I guess it's been awhile since I used iTunes... I did not notice the change. But after reading this, I opened up the iTunes store and boom a lot of songs cost more. I just broke down and bought my first ipod about a month ago too. What a bummer!!
