Ok, first thing is that I didn't know were to put this thread so I guessed here. Second is that under my knee cap I have a lot of pain. It is so sensitive that when you poke it, it is painful. I don't know what happened so I went to the doctor for an X-ray and they found nothing. I think they are wrong because it feels like it is my tendon or ligament that is the problem. If anyone knows what is wrong or any other questions, please ask me.

Hmmm...well you might want to ask Strop, our mod-doctor in training! Apart from that, did you use an ice pack? And stop poking it!

I will ask him and I have used and ice pack. I also used a heat pad, ace wrap, and even brace but nothing worked. I have learned not to poke it but it is when others poke it, lol.

I have seen a doctor and they thought it was the bone because my mom said it was. They did a whole bunch of stuff and X-rayed it and found that nothing was wrong. So I think it is my tendon or ligament.

When I was four or something, I had pains in my knees, though the doctors found nothing wrong. There is still nothing wrong, so currently guessing it might be random. Or growth related or something.

I am doing that as we speak. And it only hurts a lot when it is in motion, so yea, I will stop running a lot. But, the longer I relax it, the more it hurts. It feels as though if I relax it for a long period of time, there will be more pain. That is why I don't think it is the bone.

At first I thought is was relating to growing but I haven't grown for 2 years. I have stayed a 5'10, 140 lbs. I crossed that off my list because I haven't grown.

Lessee, I am nineteen, I am pretty sure I have stopped growing as well. I have random pains in my ankles, knees, sometimes my hips, often in my wrists, elbows and shoulders. There seem to be no real reason for this.
Hmm, but it sound like you have hyper flexible joints (just a tad), which might make your knee hurt because of it being a little inflamed.

The only thing is that it doesn't looked inflamed. There is no swelling or anything to prove that. There isn't even a bruise. Even if that is the problem, how can I fix/heal it?

Elevate your leg with a pillow or something, and try to rub the underside of the knee. Using and ice pack or heating pad would cause he muscles to expand or contract, both of which can cause extreme pain. If you rub the painful spot, it will relax the muscle there, then put a heating pad on it. This will cause the muscle there to expand safely. Then use an ice pack to make the muscles contract again. Try to refrain from using that leg with walking.

Kipdon, that is the whole thing I have been saying. I cant touch it. Even if it is to massage it, it hurts to much for me to do that.

I get a ton of random pains like that. . .both shoulders, ankles, wrists, fingers, feet, shins, thighs, pelvis, knees, neck. . .it could be just random pain. I have them all the time, and they dissipate. . . .

It is not random pain, I have had this type of pain for about 1 year and 2 months. I crossed off that bit of info from my list.

Hmmmmmmmm. . .it could be idiosyncratic. . .I had a weird rash on m leg for 2 years, then it suddenly disappeared. Stuff happens.

No, you don't understand. It isn't external. It is internal. It feels as though my ligament/tendon is messed up. I don't have...that rash.

Like i said earlier. .idiosyncratic. ..though it could be a muscle knot. Those are nasty. . .and I do understand, I was just making the connection to a medical idiosyncrasy.
