Ok, first thing is that I didn't know were to put this thread so I guessed here. Second is that under my knee cap I have a lot of pain. It is so sensitive that when you poke it, it is painful. I don't know what happened so I went to the doctor for an X-ray and they found nothing. I think they are wrong because it feels like it is my tendon or ligament that is the problem. If anyone knows what is wrong or any other questions, please ask me.
There is a little chance that it is a muscle knot. I get those all the time in my neck and I can work it out with no problem. The only thing wrong is that if it was a knot, I should have worked it out by now. I still shouldn't have it.
I have contacted a local doctor, and I have an appointment in a few weeks. I have also asked Strop, one of the local AG doctors. He has not been on so he can not help me yet.

Uhm. . .no. You said that all you've done is poke it tentatively, which would not work out a muscle knot. . .the knot could be agitating a nerve. . . .
Thisisnotanalt--I personally have not being poking it, my friends have. I occasionally poke it for fun. I try to massage it, but it does nothing.
Pois0nArr0w--I don't do anything where I kick something. I baseball basketball and baseball. You barely use you legs, only for running. I don't think it is a hyper-extension.
If even poking it hurts, then why would you try a massage? I still think that it's most likely a muscle knot.
I try to massage it so I can try to get the knot out! I think that when you say I have a muscle knot, you are wrong. Having a muscle knot is for muscles, There is no muscle under my knee cap. There is only bone, tendons, and ligaments (not including veins and stuff). I believe that you are wrong. It is my body and I know it is not a muscle knot.
