This thread while hold competitions to see which band AG likes the most. You vote on which of the following band is better and why. Then, I will add all of the votes and see which band is better.

I like some of R.E.M. songs especially Losing my Religion, The one I love, Everybody Hurts, end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine) and bad day. But Nirvana are better they have made some very good songs and I prefer them. So my vote goes to Nirvana, I love their song Come as you are.
I'd say Nirvana, for it's a major band in history of music, plus the fact that they lasted for a couple of years, whereas REM still doing some music, and it has turned really mainstream...
The 'Rats were a Irish rock band in the 70's/80's. Their most famous songs are: Rat Trap and I don't like Mondays (sorry its the best vid I could find.
Strokes are good. Hey Pixie,if you like REM,you should check out the Accelerate album. They released it last year. It reminds me a lot of Man on the Moon.
