This thread while hold competitions to see which band AG likes the most. You vote on which of the following band is better and why. Then, I will add all of the votes and see which band is better.

RULES
1.You can only vote one time
2.Do not spam (duh).
3.Do not complain if the band you want to win loses

Please keep this clean and I will try to pick bands that people know of.

I like the who merely because they just have more hits than the kinks.


the kinks scored higher on the charts. the highest the who ever got was a #9, while the kinks got a #6.

The Who

An awesome band with awesome songs and sound. Pete Townshend is an extraordinary guitarists and guitar destroyed. I do miss Keith's powerful beats and his toilet demolition behavior!

It's late >.<. I would also like to add that Roger Daltry's voice is one of a kind and I think that Ray Davies voice becomes quite monotonous after awhile.

The Who could rool The Kinks over and beat the crap out of them with their stage equipment.

But seriously, I vote for The Who, they have a bigger wealth of great music in their catalogue by far.

While I love the who, nirvan has more songs that I like, and though they have some very odd stuff, it is all very original.

Not a really a huge fan of the Who, but I hate Kurt's voice and most other stuff that came out of the Grunge era.

Nirvana

A hard decision, but grunge is my overall favorite genre. My favorite song is probably Drain You or their cover of The Man Who Sold The World. Kurt Cobain was a rather talented guitarist (far from the best), but he was definitely one of the best left handed guitarists I know. Nirvana was also a extremely popular band with their Nevermind album, but sadly, he pulled the trigger and blew it all away...
