This thread while hold competitions to see which band AG likes the most. You vote on which of the following band is better and why. Then, I will add all of the votes and see which band is better.

Upon further review.. this is correct. James Root also plays guitar for both bands.
I really didn't know much about either group. The battle suggestion came from my girlfriend. I thought it would be interesting seeing that it's the same guy with a much different type of music.

wow what a two bad choice of bands.... there both annoying as hell... but i guess slipknot has a much larger fan base and more hits so i guess slipknot wins..... evn though i hate them
Nice burst for Slipknot. Actually I kind of like Stone Sour and don't find them anywhere as annoying as I do Slipknot. So I'll go ahead and toss my vote in for Stone Sour. I love the song Bother.

I'm going with Styx. I like the sound of Dennis Dee Young and Tommy Shaw better than REO's lead singer. Two more good Styx songs are Mr. Roboto and Miss America
