The Stone Roses vs. The Verve

The Stone Roses are an alt rock band from Manchester emerging from the "Madchester" genre some examples of songs are the amazing I am the Resurrection , Fools Gold and Waterfall.

While The Stone Roses were the start of a genre The Verve are the beautiful last breaths (-ish) still alt-rock with some shoegazing and other stuff thrown in examples of songs are: Bittersweet Symphony, The Drugs Don't Work, Sonnet and Lucky Man

I'm gonna say The Verve. I just love the song Bittersweet Symphony. Whenever I feel a little spiritual it's a great song to listen to.

Not a real huge fan of either group, but I am a huge fan of Bittersweet Symphony. So my vote goes to The Verve.
