I think there are best songs for each genre since.. Well, you can't really compare Metallica to Six Feet Under, can you?

The above songs are great recommendations for metal songs.

I would recommend some classic stuff, like Slayer and Iron Maiden.

Also, Lamb of God is pretty good.
