You heard me! If there is an afterlife, which one would you go to and why I'm not intending to insult a religion and I'd really like it if you didn't say "Heaven, because that's the only afterlife". Try and keep an open mind in the thread and think of other religions and their afterlives. My favorite in the Celtic underworld would be the halls of Valhalla. I mean really, wouldn't it just be kick ASS to be able to go on a manslaughter between your fellow men, and when you are defeated you'd just end up in the mess hall so you can eat? Even the Egyptian afterlife seems pretty cool to me, I mean, the whole journey to get there is freakin' cool.

So, rules:
1: No trashing a religion
2: Keep an open mind
3: Please don't pick an afterlife dominant to your religion. This isn't a rule but please, PLEASE think hard about it.
4: Don't make fun of someone for picking a frilly afterlife (if there is one).
5: Don't spam, and always give a reason, or I while call in zophia to eat you, EAT YOU ALL. NAUGHOW.

So again, I'd wanna be apart of the halls of valhalla, because you get to kill for sport and fun, and then gorge yourself on ham without having to clean your hands!

After I die, I will return to the collective energy of the universe. After doing so, I will be reunited with the rest of my spiritual being that is too large to be housed within this body. This will allow me to remember all of my past lives, as well as the time I have spent outside of a physical form. Then I will continue existence as a pan-dimensional being, traveling from plane of existence to plane of existence, experiencing different times, universes, and life forms far more developed than those of us here on earth. Although, at some point I do want to watch the progress of the human race...I bet I could watch it in fast forward, I'm interested to see if humanity will ever get balance, equality, and eventually sublime out of their physical forms and move out of this universe as a race....anyway thats the afterlife I will be a part of.

I would probably want to roam the endless being of space, being equipped for universal travel. I'm pretty sure that'll keep me from being bored for a long time, a family member or friend to tag along with would be even better...

The afterlife I envision...was that not okay, I thought we could post what afterlife we thought we would be a part of? Does it have to be one established already?

I don't understand what you mean. Don't care if that means you think I'm dumb, I just want to know what you are saying.

I will be one with the earth, as my body gets riddled with worms and mushroom roots. The earth shall open its great maw and accept me, from dust man was created and to dust I shall return. My life will be snuffed out like a candle burned close to the base, the wick will be charred and small.

A little bit of everything.

Chilling in heaven for a bit, laughing at the suckers in hell, saying "Hi" to Vishnu asking the Buddha how he stays so fit, having God tell me the meaning of life then being reincarnated as a Jack Russel Terrier. Yep sounds good to me.

But the one I think would be best if you couldn't mix and match would be the "Everything you want and need in heaven" approach works for me.

I don't actually prescribe to a known religion, I mean you could say I'm Unitarian, thus I can amalgamate the most pertinent points of the religions I choose and my spiritual journey is entirely my own. Also, though it may not sound like it I incorporate a fair amount of science into my beliefs...so I think I met the criteria.

no no no, that isn't what I was saying at all. I was just saying that, isn't it "Gods" duty to watch over us and see to the cosmos? I'm not just talking about the christian god, btw.

Also I was thinking that you guys would choose an afterlife that isn't just known to you...but okay, whatever floats your boat.
Btw, DDX, your "afterlife" is pretty cool but uh....wouldn't you be rotting in the ground...? Is that exactly an afterlife instead of just a glorious death?

You do know that (except in extremely rare cases; also, if you believe in reincarnation) in reincarnation, you forget all of your past lives. Like, you have already lived countless lives, but you do not remember any of them.

Well DDX, remember to try and keep an open mind here! Think of all the different afterlifes and even if they don't exist to you, which one do you think would be best to live in? I don't beleive in an afterlife either, but I still chose Valhalla because it sounds so kick a**.

...Oh whoopps, MrGreenrune already smurf'd ya. Nvm.

As for the guy who said "I'll just chill and go to the center of the earth", is that seriously an "afterlife"? I mean, you'd basically be burning and burning until you wish you were dead.

Reincarnation would be nice. Then I'd have less fear of suicide
