Agreement... I agree because it is a bad thing for people to do. And even if it legal, it is against the Law so that if they do watch pornography, the are breaking the Law. I also think it should be illegal because in the Bible it says, PORN IS BAD!
Disagree... I disagree because sometimes pornography is good. For example, when you are at a Sperm Bank, where do you think the sperm came from? You probably would suggest that the male used pornography to masturbate causing the sperm to come out. So, pornography could be used for a good thing.
...I amazed that the thread has lasted this long haven't settled that fact that weather or not we think it should be illegal...its never gonna happen. You could make the industry illegal but then there would be that girl that sends her boyfriend a picture/video of her naked or masturbating and say the jackass sends it to all his friends and so on so forth it was never meant to be shared but it was wasn't it and in the end total strangers got an eyeful of the girl...

ok than lets make everything legal that we cannot prevent from happening. drug dealing, stealing, killing. i mean it is illegal but still happens. so where is the point?
the point of illegalizing stuff is, that you make acess to them harder and can punish people for doing that stuff. so less people will do it because they are afraid to get caught. and laws should also reflect moral standards of a society
When was the last time you paid for music or a PC game. Just because something is illeagle doesn't mean that you can't get it. Even if it is made illeagal, the sites won't go down, the culture will probably grow from making it a crime.
Porn is illeagle in the military durring war time. But everyone has it. Some people get punished for it, but most dont.

Anyway, I agree. Making it illegal wouldn't do much. People would still be able to get it, and they might try to get it more. It would be a difficult law to enforce, as someone would have to report the person possessing porn. Usually people aim to not be seen watching it...
You say that, but you haven't seen the lines for porn showings at the 2am hotel conferances. I usually see them as I'm leaving from the 1am showings at conferances, I don't actually stay for them.
it's at 2am because it's past cerfew for under 18. Also you will have girls as young as 13 walking around durring the day, so yes, it is to protect the public. The point was, there are a lot of people who aren't afraid to watch porn in a public place.
