first person

It really depend on what games I'm playing. If I'm playing something like COD 5, I would prefer it to be first person. If I were playing something like Metal Gear Solid, I would prefer third.

I like first person more just because I'm used to it

Third just makes it awkward for shooters, although thirds fine for RPGs, it just makes the game feel less real

First person gives the game a more realistic feel, while third provides different angles of perspective. The only reason I like first better is because of the way some third person games make the camera glitch through the surroundings when you're in confined spaces.

while third person is cool and allows for better view of your surroundings, i think i would prefer first person, because it is easier and more realistic.

Just based on the fact that I can never seem to get the controls down for third person games, I'm gonna say first person.

It depends on the game, and the mood I'm in. On Halo I like 1st person, but Star Wars Battlefield I prefer 3rd person. I wonder if I would prefer 3rd person in Halo though if they offered it.

I enjoy playing 3rd person games, such as C&C and Age of Empires, because I like the feeling I get when I build an empire, raise and army, and utterly destroy my enemy. However, I like some 1st person games, such as Gears of War.
