What is your favorite guitar company? Is it Gibson? Maybe Ibanez? Or even BC Rich? Post your favorite guitar company and what kind of guitar you like. (No stupid comments).
Here I go, Well I have an Ibanez RG3EXFM1 and I love it. It is the greatest guitar I have ever played. I have played some Epiphones but I don't like any of the Models. I have played Fenders and Jacksons, a few Shecters but nothing feels just right. I even own a BC Rich KKV which I think is great. But nothing has satisfied me like the great Ibanez guitars do.
Hey, the good news is you could just swap out the humbuggers for something else.
That's definitely a good point. I can take a Fender Starcaster and replace the electronic in it and play pure metal tones by swapping out humbuckers (or single coils for that matter). The only problem with swapping out humbuckers is... you have to know how to rewire them and what kind you need to get. Could you have somebody else order them and put them in for you? Of course. I bought a Jackson WRXT XT Warrior and it had Duncan Designed Detonators. I sent them to a local Guitar Center to get them switched for a set of active EMGs. The total cost in the end was about $200. In the end, it's better to pay more for a high quality guitar than get stuck with a piece of wood.
Les Paul 1956 Goldtop... if you can affored a $30,000 guitar i have a Bc Rich forgot what model shaped into a Flame and black and red things killer....
My boyfriend has a BC Rich Kerry King and my is it beautiful. I also love his other BC Rich guitar XD. I'm just learning how to play so i feel like i'm doing such guitars a huge disservice.

Not at all! At least you're trying to learn to play an actual guitar. Some people consider playing guitar professionally is equivalent to playing Guitar Hero on expert.
Anyways, I have an awesome guitar I'm going to post a picture of... (Hopefully it's not too big)
Schecter GWAR Flatus Maximus Electric Guitar(EMG 81, Killswitch, Original Floyd Rose)
I played this awesome looking guitar at my local Guitar Center. Although it was pretty heavy, it had a nice balance to it. It's more of a rhythm guitar than a lead guitar. It produces some nice heavy tones though.
If this guitar doesn't make you wet your pants something is wrong with you.
I'm a huge fan of Ibanez, but I think I'll stay with my Jackson. Although, Ibanez is one of the greatest guitar companies out there. ESP is still my favorite.
Fender
The best shredders out there. With EMG pickups.
ESP and Jackson are definitely some of the best shredders out there, but Fender? Nah... not really.
I'm going be getting a B.C Rich Warlock soon, (I know it's cheap, but I love the way it looks) so I'll be sure to tell ya all a little bit about it too.
I think Gibson makes great guitars, but I wouldn't say that they make the best. As far as quality and craftsmanship goes... I'd say it's between Paul Reed Smith and ESP.
I'm not saying they don't make good guitars, but when you hold a Gibson, you kinda get the feeling that this guitar was made in a factory, I guess what I'm trying to say is they don't have much soul. But when you pick up a PRS, or other handcrafted guitars, You're like "Whoa, some one really put a lot of work into this".
I agree. Although I prefer Ibanez over ESP, Paul Reed Smith guitars are definitely one of the best.
The only problem I have with Ibanez is the electronics. I practically live at Guitar Center and all the Ibanez's I've played sound too staticy even with a "HumDebugger". I love the sound of them, but I think ESP's handmade quality outmatches Ibanez.
