My college is at the same place as my school so I really haven'y changed much though technically it is a 6th form. It is very good lots of free lessons and most of the teachers are nice.
I'm currently undertaking a USPC with Cambridge University. Meaning they send me all the assignments and recommended materials, and I turn up for the exams. It's pretty good as it allows me to get on with my job whilst getting a bachelors. I'd have preffered to have gone to university outright, but this'll do.
I go to the University of Northern Colorado. Roughy 13,000 students attend, 11,500 are undergrads and about 1,500 grad students. It's not a bad school. The things I can say about college are classes are okay, no day to day busy work like in elementry, middle or high school. Love the tentative schedules (always nice to find a class got cancled on friday afternoons hehe)That and always always at least skim over the materials before class, that wa if theres a quiz you can b.s. your way through it...
I am most likely going to Harvard or Berkley. To those who do not know, they are both prestigious universities at opposite sides of USA. It may be hard to imagine that I could get into one of those two, but my mom is a doctor and I am very intelligent, so I could.
I'd like to go to the University of Illinois in Springfield. It is a very good school, and not out of my price range. Also, it's far enough away from home that I'll be able to be apart from my family, but no so far that I'll never see them. I want to become a high school psychology teacher, so I'll most likely major in psychology. Possibly minor in English, we'll see as it gets a bit closer. I'm going to be a sophomore next year, and Junior year is when you really need to know what you want to do for sure, so I still have time to finalize and such.

If you want to teach in high school you need to major in a Secondary Teacher Education program, then you can minor in whatever you want then you'll be able to teach in high school
Well, I'm going to the spectacular school of...wait for it... Arizona State University! Go Devils! I'm going there to get a degree (Master's hopefully) in computer engineering. Probably game design, or something along those lines.

I don't think you're correct. To my knowledge if someone wants to teach in high school they should major in what they want to teach, and minor in education.

I know thats how it done at the University I attend, it could be done differently else where. You'll just have to check where ever you want to go.
All I can say is I've changed my major about 5 or 6 times. First I wanted to be an architect, then I changed it to engineering, then I decided to scrap that idead because Im terrible at math and science, and I decided to major in psychology because I wanted to go to the FBI and work as an agent but then I found out that you have to major in accounting to work at the FBI, so then I decided to stay with psychology to work as a foresnic psychologist to work within the courts and corrections systems but I really dont want to go to graduate school because I just want to be done with school so Im probably going to change my major aain to criminal just because I want to become a police detective but I first have to be a street cop before I can be promoted to dectective...phew...yeah...
Long story short, you never know where you'll end up by the time you graduate from college...
At the university I'm going to, Western Washington University, you can major in whatever you want and then go into a post-bac program to earn a teaching certification.
Right now I'm thinking about the Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics program, with a minor in music. (Vocal performance specifically.)
Also, I hope it's better than NAU. That place was so desperate they gave me a free application with no essay. All I had to do was enter my name, my social security number, and my parent's names. Easiest acceptance ever.
