Good. --- The place I live is interesting in that there is quite a bit of international culture in it, even though it's a small town in the USA. There's a completely authentic Italian restaurant here, among other things. I have a friend who's also a Greek citizen, and a friend who's mother always answers the phone by saying hello in Italian because of all of her Italian relatives.
Whenever telesales people call I shout at them angrily in Greek til they hang up. It works a treat.
Heres what I ask them. "would you like it if I called when you were having dinner trying to sell you some thing that you don't give a sh*t about, would you like that?" and hang up.
Plus the new answering machine I got for college plays this tape: "Hey this is Dan _________, I am unavailable at the moment, please leave a name and phone number and I'll return your call ASAP. If you hare a telemarketer then go to *beeeep*" (that is when the answering machine cuts me off and plays the beep indicating the end of tape and the start of where people can leave their message.)
The best answering machine ever would be. . . . Machine: Hello? Did you say something? You're breaking up. . .leave a message. Unless you're a telemarketer. Then I don't give a *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*
I actually do feel kind of sorry for these people. Their job is basically to recieve crap all day. Plus, tons of them work in crappy conditions in call centres in India for a tiny wage.
