what if a wall surrounded every city in the world? a huge wall, as tall as sky scrapers, as thick as a house is wide. impenetrable and unclimbable, with razor blades sticking out of it. anti aircraft cannons at its top to destroy renegade planes, and soldiers with machine guns. would society all over the world benefit from this kind of wall? no wars, and no interaction with the outside world. protection from nuclear war, a silent and invincible guardian, unclimbable and indestructible. so would this wall be a good thing?
But how about the beaches? If you were to wall its shores, then how will people enjoy these beaches? If you were to wall the seas it would cause an ecological disturbance... either ways it will effect fishermen, captains and many more...
how will economy benefit if there are no more exportation or importation of good? Some countries depends on these to survive?
how will plumbing and garbage disposables work?
lastly, who'll own the seas, the oceans? how can we use water if no city owns it?
so too summarize, economy and life would really suc*...
we all know how this Wall thing is gonna work out a psychopathic clone breaks out of prison reprograms a killer robot and they go on a rampage and then Sylvester Stallone has to take out the killer robot and kill the psychopathic clone and save the day and yes i'm alluding to the movie Judge Dredd if you haven't figured that out by now
