I have noticed a lot of different sites and their different styles during my in(un)famous The Great Forum Test, however all in all it is up to the user to respect basic conversation structure, spelling, and plain seriousness in the end.
"A retard by any other name still cant type."
Take a website such as Newgrounds, Facebook, or Twitter. There is only one or two users who use manners online, others are immature people trying to be mature by insulting people, social outcasts who think they matter online, and just plain morons. I like to think i have good online manners, and I take pride in it, even though many people couldn't care if I was text talking insults about sombreros I never actually wore in Iceland (Wait, wha...?).
I digress...
Armour games is actually one of the best sites I know of with internet manners, no doubt it is thanks to the mods (Sucking up here, come on throw me a bone). Actually I am just typing this for no real reason, but at least you can read it, hey.
So what's your opinion of the steady decline into the sludge we know exists? (Again -- Wa...?)
DDX when did you become a Mo.... hey wait a minute....
DDX: Believe it or not, others have tried and failed, heh heh heh.
Wrong blue, DDX..
D: awww I thought I tricked you guys.
Manners eh... Its strange that al the ****s at my school are popular they have no manners etc. though. But on here if you came on with no mannes and no respect for others you wouldn't last long.
Well generally I had the idea that all englishmen were very polite and mild mannered. (maybe not so much Scottish...)
I will. *have been going through entire coding to find the info on the font there, is slightly pissy not to find it*
It is identical to Arial, yet still somehow different...
The spaces are somehow longer, but the letters in the individual words can overlap perfectly. Also, colour picking from the screenshot does not give the correct blue.
As for manners online: I'm used to AG and a furry site. I don't have enough to compare to~ Though this site does seem a whole lot more welcoming than several others I've sneaked onto and left again... Also more orderly.
I have also noticed that ArmorGames has a great community. The members here are generally respectful and polite. Everyone here wants to help out with whatever they can.
I think the reason for this is that not too many people here are too involved with 4chan, if involved at all.
You know, there is more to deleting posts than hitting a button. You have to fill out Form D1 then fill out Form D2 if the post was offensive. If the post was not offensive then form W7 must be filled out and the reason must be specified on there. Then, if you delete a post by a mod, you must fill out Form W10. Form W10 is a horrible form to fill out because that form also comes with tax (about $0.20). After filling that Form out I would have to go to Form D3 and fill that Form out because I deleted my own post. After that, I must fill our Form FIN3 and send it in with screenshots and a paragraph on why I deleted the post (for easy reference).
You don't want to know what it's like to ban a user. x.x

THat is because the font needs to be a bit thicker.
