Is it possible to remove the word "Quick" from Quick Feedback?

Short comments are not a thorn in my side, though they are quite annoying to a few. What annoys me is comments about other comments which, while relatively infrequent, are as annoying as short comments are to people who don't like short comments.

I'm pretty sure people equate "quick" with "short". Removing "Quick" and/or replacing it with another adjective should provide some positive change.

Uhm, I myself must admit I didn't even know that word was there.

I don't get it. But that is one of those annoying problems.

And Gantic, you seem to be talking about two different things: Comments about other comments and annoying short comments are due to one word at the top of the games comment.

To be "technical": Comments are comments. Posts are posts. Posts are not comments. Comments are not posts.

An example comment I am talking about:

uhh.... [username removed] your a nerd cough cough... its a quick feed back not ur life story.

Note the content of that comment.

This needs some clarification:

Comments about other comments are comments commenting on how long someone else's comment is compared to how short everyone else's comments are.

I personally have no gripe about those short comments. Mods will delete them when they have the time to get around to doing that. Still, there are people who don't like them very much.

I don't like "comments about [the length of] other comments" as much as people don't like comments that are very short. I don't know if they're reportable or worth reporting since they aren't flaming but they aren't saying anything about the game. But I can't blame them when it is called "Quick" Feedback.

I agree, this is a pretty good observation. I think the use of the term quick does imply that that there should be short responses. Granted, I don't know if it will actually help. Because if people are going to leave short messages, they will do it anyways. But it is worth a shot!

Yeah, I'd so totally want it to be changed to "Detailed Feedback".

Then we could totally make leaving single-word comments a bannable offense...except then I'd die banning members and the population of ArmorCity would probably shrink tenfold...

That said, I certainly wouldn't mind this development!

Haha, I can see Strop now, going down in a sea of spam comments and bans.

Wow, so many mod posts in one thread! Looks like someone struck home base...

Yeah, I'd so totally want it to be changed to "Detailed Feedback".

I think some weird people would criticize it or make fun of it by writing even shorter posts or completely spammy ones.

And the corpses of the slain...

Comments about other comments are comments commenting on how long someone else's comment is compared to how short everyone else's comments are.

I knew what you meant!
But I can't blame them when it is called "Quick" Feedback.

If we changed it though, some people might see this site like Microsoft: Erase every back door to breaking rules so we could sue them easily.

So my dastardly plan to destroy the mods by their own means has been foiled! Confound it!

I'm just thinking it might just shame some people into leaving something more constructive instead of shaming people from leaving something more constructive.
