Well as far as metal goes, it's lame. Espesially the stuff about demons and satan and the like. As for punk. I can't think of a better genre. But I hate the Sex Pistols more than any other band ever. Period.
Because they were considering themselves to be like the best punk band ever but they were just a boy band. They didn't even know eachother before they started playing. Also, Sid Vicious wasn't their original bass palyer. He was brought in because the original one was too good. They were a ploy to make money and they go directly against EVERYTHING that punk is supposed to stand for.
I think some of that fault can be attributed to Malcolm McLaren rather than directly to the band though. At times they were abit 2poser" like but I like thier osngs regardless I'm no die hard punk so I can avoid feeling guilty

I completely agree I cringed when I saw that advert. It was ridiculous. "Arghhh Anarchy... DOWN WITH THATCHER.... oh money ok eat this butter" it was truly awful.

well this thread has 45 posts and almost no one has mentioned any real metal bands. All you guys talk about is Disturbed, Slipknot and so on. it pisses me off! bad!
