Seeing I know how to use one, an M16 would be perfect for me. Or the classic M14, you don't get up after getting hit by that. The Scottish Claymore is a brilliant sword if that's what you're talking about though, or the English longbow, at close range it can go through things bullets can't. Granted it takes years of practice with a bow or sword, especially bows, but it can pay off. Still, the guy with the M16 or M14 is most likely going to win if he pays attention.
My own ability: British Longbow (I'm good at archery) Flat out awesome: British Mounted Knightsword Gun: ehh... anything that fires .50 cal Sci-Fi: Railgun
Yeah... The first time I tried using a longbow, I only pulled it back a couple inches. Even after using it a lot, I'm not strong enough to pull it all the way back... After all, just a little bit buries the arrow in the target. Pulling it back all the way would punch through I don't know what... If you had a master of a longbow versus someone with an M-16, it would be interesting. It can take multiple hits to kill someone with an M-16, but a longbow will bring you down in one hit... Of course, the M-16 can fire before the archer could ever get the bow pulled back...
Katanas are nice. They are great for slashing, but are difficult to dual wield unless you are holding two small ones which would be more like scimitars... They are good at blocking because the back isn't sharp though... And if you don't intend to kill someone, just whack em with the blunt side...
Well, if you could get a small enough explosive to hit critical mass, you could have a bazooka launch a nuke... And then just duct tape a sub mach to it...
