1. Nobody gets hurt! (Unless you have heart problems and you just happen to see your friend Bobby rate 500 games in the past day and you had a heart attack and die, but what are the chances of that?)
2. The AP! Wow you just got 1,000 AP from those 500 games Bobby! But it looks like Billy is a little mad at you since you didn't play all 500 games. "Well it's just AP Alex, and last I checked, this is a gaming website, not a points website." "Exactly my point Billy! The AP is just there for your enjoyment. The point of this website is to play and talk and not obsess over AP!"
3. It's not really annoying! Different from our good old typing spam; snjfnajfbjsbdjbsd , Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, and Great game!, Great game! , Great freakin Game! We get it! But with spam rating, no body gets really annoyed. Seeing someone ruin your thread and get it locked or someone saying hi over and over again gets annoying. But with spam rating, You got up 1,000 AP! Congratz LOLOLOL :P (also spam) Doesn't start anything else then the occasional question and congratulations.

spam clogs up the system with 2 second thought comments to where game developers can't get the suggestions/actual useful ratings they use to improve their games
Alright, so one individual rating won't change much; but there's a problem if everyone rates games without playing them. We want everyone to rate games fairly so that each one gets a fair score and the recognition it deserves.
So in all fairness to the game creators, rate each game honestly. Don't slop a random number down like some lazy noob.
