Off track. Some people 'lol', but in reality they do not 'lol'. Pretty funny and ironic...'Lol' doesn't really bear much meaning other than expressing suprise nowadays. Not laughter.
Not really. I do not think people actually laugh out loud when saying "lol". They may just be laughing slightly or they may not be laughing at all. Though I actually use "lol" when I am laughing.
I rarely lol when I am laughing out loud. Only really lazy kids to do or just crazy kids who spend a wee bit too much time on facebook and twitter or whatever you whippersnappers go on these days.
lol=quiet chuckle ROFL=laughing really hard... There was only ever one person that literally ROFL'd... It was kinda scary... She was on a sugar rush at two in the morning and of course, sugar and adrenaline DON'T MIX!!!!!!!!! Throw in a hilarious joke, and she was laughing so hard she collapsed... She then proceeded to be rolling around on the floor while laughing her head off... It was kinda creepy...
