lol... Well lol's aren't basically HAH HAH HAH's! their usually grins and quiet laughs. A ROFL to me is when i litterly do laugh out loud. But not enough to be heard downstairs. It's ok to say lol just don't follow it with ROFL. It'll screw the whole system up >.<

realy just depends though i veiw like soda, a lol as a smirk, grin etc, and a rofl or the like as when i really do laugh

i use lol when something is funny, and i first i did laugh, but you get er..."immune" (for lack of a bettr word) to those things...

It depends on how funny it is. If its freakin hilarious then yes. But if its funny on a normal lvl i dont.

Most of the time I'm chuckling, or having a huge smile. However if I'm going "LMFAO" or "ROFL" then yeah, I'm cracking up XD.

I believe it's more of a statement that you thought what the other person said was funny. Not that you are actually laughing.
