Here you can draw your own "Pokemon" based on a theme...

RULES
All pictures must be made using MS paint or GIMP. It can also be hand drawn.

They have to be appropriate! I don't want nasty-looking stuff!

They have to be your own Pokemon. Don't steal other people's creations!

The winner will choose a date (maximum time: 2 weeks) and "Theme/Type" for every contest. I will begin choosing a theme.

Nobody win 2 times in a row!

The entries must be done before the date has expired.

This time they have to represent Blobs.
The deadline will be the 7th of June... (the Sunday after Sweden's national day)

Now go make some Fakemon already!

P.S... I will only judge one Fakemon per user. Keep that in mind!

Well, Drew, It was ok...
...I don't really know where to start, so I'll just go...
If you used a smaller brush for the outlining, that would have been great.
You could have made some dots that are apparent on most potatoes.
You could have made it a little curvy, like most potatoes usually are.
Maybe you could have a flap of potato hanging off on top or off the side.
For the legs, you could have made those little sprouts you get if you leave a potato in the cabinet for too long.

Thyll, what did you use for the shading?
It looked like you used MS Paint for everything besides the shading of the broccoli head. What was it, GIMP?

It was indeed Gimp. Ever since I downloaded the flash demo it's been jealous and has decided to look crappy.

Haha! Tomatochu! I would've liked the name better if it was Tomachu, but it's still ingenious! Yes, truly ingenious! The humorous design is as well. A face would be good to add to it. A faceless Tomato with a tail and two yellow/black ears is slightly creepy for my liking. A face would make it very cuter. As a matter of fact- *goes on paint to make fanart*

Great entry Drew. You Drew this right? Haha, just kidding. This entry it great. Yes, very great indeed. It looks like a Pokemon you would find out in the wild. It WOULD look slightly better with some shading, and I highly recommend you add some. It would look pro! Maybe another face too? They look a little too... How should I say it... "Noobish" to me. Or maybe a better word is kiddish. Even though this was obviously made in paint, it's a great entry, like I've said a few times.
It sort-of fits the theme... A potato is technically a crop (as far as I know) but I'll let it pass.

I'm not as much of an eggplant as you are, Q, but I really like this idea. A grass/ghost type would be brilliant! And evolving through Haunter? Blimey! This is a great way of putting back the old Gen1 Pokemon. Great job! I like nearly everything about it!

Cornster and Kittensalad, two of my most favorite Fakemon ever created. I would LOVE to see some more art from you, art of Cornster of course.
I don't know why, but I'm not sure about these two entries. They're cute, yes. They're lovable, very. Well drawn too!... But they don't look like Pokemon THAT much. I mean, they're cool! But they don't look like Pokemon. Maybe you need to add something else to Cornster. Stripes? Ears? Rings here and there?
I have to be honest with you though, Kittensalad looks like a Pokemon, but Corster doesn't really though. Almost 2nd place!
