COD4 is better overall. Firefly is right in saying that. WaW isn't bad, but just doesn't match up. The online for WaW is better in some ways, mainly because of Nazi Zombies, but COD4 ultimately wins out.
WAW is far too glitchy, and the weapons and specials aren't as good as 4. I also hate that there are tanks. Some n00b can just pwn you with no real effort is very frustrating.
It depends on what kind of games you play. I mean WaW is WW2. So no-one is going to have a USP or Shotgun with Laser or whatever. The tanks is interesting and with WaW having Nazi Zombies gives it 50 points. They're probably even actually. It's to hard to tell. Although CoD 4 does have better graphics.
I like Call of Duty 4 online better considering I'm a sniper, because its alot harder to snipe on World at War.

I never fully understood that, because World at War came out a year after Modern Warfare. I guess they used the same graphics engine, but they should still be a little improved if not the same.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare had Picture Realistic graphics. So it basically looks like real life. You can't improve that can you? World at War with Nazi Zombies would be to hard to make picture realistic. So i believe it wasn't as good. Plus with Modern Warfare 2 coming at out. All other games will DIE!

But I had no idea about the whole Picture Realistic graphics engine. But I think Modern Warfare sould still be improved a little bit. But, I still think its one of the best looking games realeased so far, and its over a year old.

Most of the glitches aren't in conventional online. . . . I would argue that the weapon section is a bit more even (now more P90 domination) but it still has it's fair share of gamekillers, like the MP40 and Juggern00b, as well as the n00btube.
The tanks are easy to take out if a n00b is driving them. Most o them can't handle one quick guy with a few satchel charges or a bazooka (n00btube.) Tanks are easy to take out of you move close enough. Unless they have a machinegunner.
Well dude they are coming out with Modern Warfare 2. It's having one of the longest game campaigns made so far. Plus all the extra combat things.

Machinegunners are just easy kills, all you need to do is shoot them in the back from behind.
As for tanks being easy to kill, yes, they are, if you are the right class and have the right perks, but I'm all about the sniping, so there's not much I can do with a T-34 rolling towards me is there?

True. But pone of the main points of WaW's class system is to think ahead- be prepared for any type of enemy. And you can do that, because of the custom class system.

I am a purist when it comes to FPS. No BS vehicles. Mano-a- mano is how it should be. Tanks negate the skill factor hugely.
