ok well let me first tell you guys that i wasnt too sure on where to put this because well... it just doesnt really belong anywhere so i guess this would catagorize as support.
Ok so lately ive been a little more active and ive seen on some games like for example the one i played before i decided to post this "choose your 2012" i saw about every single commnent on the comments page with 1 or 2 words. and the one post that didnt have 1 or 2 words was 3 words... -.-i realize that theirs not much we can do but flag the comments and be sad about it. but i just want to make sure the mods are staying on their feet on the games since im really getting tired of posts that say "?????" witch was posted on the 2012 by kejulezat Posted at 12:42pm on 5/31/2009
im really getting sick of it and i think theirs atleast half of AG that has noticed it and is sick of it also.
Well to wrap it all up Mods stay on your feet and people STOP SPAMMING!!!!!!
As AG gets more popular, I believe that more and more people will start to join our ranks. And as newcomers, they aren't really accustomed to the rules yet. So they spam/flame a bit or just act as a mean troll. But give most the time...and they wear down abut to tolerable levels. At least that's what I hope they do. Hopefully, we can take it as a good sign. Though I must say...there are people that are plain irresponsible...and spam the fun out of the Forums or games comments. There simply aren't enough moderators and users to detect and wipe out spam, compared to the number of users.
--------- There is spam...but spam on the game Comments never really do any actual harm. Certainly, it floods the comment pages driving down good, indepth and constructive posts of responsible users; But apart from that the only thing they can do is to annoy people.
Spam...on the Forum is the real thing that has to be eradicated and rooted up.
Personally the best mode of action is to post the offending thread/users' link on a mods' wall. Then leave it at such. There's no point in spamming the thread further by labelling threads/users as spammers/flammers/trolls. It doesn't help and can infuriate the culprits to higher degrees of spamming. This really gets on my nerves...the rich irony in name-calling!
And it certainly clogs up the thread, opening up the possibility of more spamming. Damage control guys!
And that Zoph..technically was partially one! No proper explanation or reasoning. Tut tut!
I know, but I don't do it on a regular basis. And seeing such a comment in a thread like this just... >_> Guarrr.
Now that I remember it:

Wait...I'm really bad at shortening of phrases...Why not leave them in the perfect state of linguistics beauty? Unspoiled...pure...untampered...blah blah blah....
In a nutshell, an explanation would be greatly appreciated.
Just to add in a little thing: Mod spam is a vicious rumor of hate. Sometimes we do not need to make elaborate posts. We aren't it in for the points. We work hard. And sometimes a little post is all that is needed, especially for locking threads. If we did it all the time like...some users...then it would be a problem.

Nah...it was a little jest if you referring to my 'unsatisfied' attitude towards Zoph. Mod spam is no oxymoron...at least on other Forums.
I have found quite a few moderator comments and merit worthy comments that have been flagged, when they certainly were not spam.
Which would show up easiest? One review with many vote-ups to make it show up in bold? Or one review with 2 flags that shows up on the "bad list"? I found the main reason for that, and people have thought of it. An anonymous user once posted "Well, if flags show up on mods' profiles, why not just use that for getting easy merits?" on my profile. After thinking through that, it was true. But of course, mods support the rule of "We don't want reviews shoved in our faces; we want to see them for ourselves".
Ok thanks carlie for clearing that up about loseing AP and such... but still i just want to make sure im flagging the right ones so that i dont become one of those noobs flagging everything... i should flag them if they are 5-7 words long? or is that for the forums because i would have like 300 more flags if i would have flagged the ones with 5-7 i normally go between 2-4 but eh.... and well if their randome posts that have more then 10 words like some one who goes...
Hi i am bob... bob likes pie.... pie is yummy.... weeee im a unicorn.... and then they press enter like 20 times or something to make it show up 20 times.... i see that very much also. well when i get these final questions answeard any mod feel free to lock it because i think i got my point across... this has became a "spam thred" hahahaha.... looks at brother *shakes head* looks at the lamp * shakes it shade thing* looks at zoph *QTF?* i have no clue what that means but i now realize Q is close to W so... yea. it was a joke for the people who dont get my sence of humor... -.-

Mods don't see flagged comments, and I'm pretty sure Carlie knows some might do that. >_>
i should flag them if they are 5-7 words long?
You should flag them if they are useless. Useless is not defined by lack of length. Useless is defined by content. If the content is useless, it is spam.
Also, QFT means Quoted For Truth. When you see a shortening you don't know what means, look it up on Google or UrbanDictionary.

I have seen some of us spam occasionally, though... Usually just in humor, but yeah. A certain someone's doublepost where the second post was nothing but a ':P'...
