Warning, if you have hypotheticals or cannot think for yourself and copy what you see on TV, go away. Now. You'll wreck people's fun. Or at least mine.
Now then, think for a second. You have just entered a similar world to your own, your parents and family are still there, but you have a choice. You could become a superhero, or even a supervillain in this world upon entering. Now then, once you have chosen, you notice something. Your town that you had lived in is now ten times bigger, the size of a metropolis. Upon further investigating, you find that the city is in a territorial crisis, it being divided in a middle line. The heroes and villains are each on the different sides. After going to your side, an official of the city comes to you to teach you of your powers. It turns out that you can focus them into "moves". Here's where the rhetorical part comes in. If you were a superhero/supervillain, what would your costume be, and what powers would you have? Also, no being completely uncreative and saying "rainbow", "all the powers ever known", or "the ability to transform into other people and have their powers", or "stealing peoples powers just by looking at them", or anything of that like. It's godmodding and it makes you look like a person who likes Mary Sues.
Personally, if I had the choice, I'd focus all my "owers" into making robots, and 1, being the main robot, had a built in camera with controls so I could remote control it and a platoon I'd make for it. I'd be a SuperVillain, because it's just plain more fun.
Name: Nameless Costume: Black Spectrefiber cloak reinforced with a titanium mesh (because cloaks are awesome) Powers: Telekinesis and Photokinesis Alignment: Hero
The reason for the name is that I don't want people saying, "Such and such is awesome." As for the costume, cloaks are awesome and when you throw in telekinesis, you get the Emperor look which ought to scare the crap of anyone who is in your way. Photokinesis is just cool and making your hands glow and fire pulses of gamma rays is just awesome.
isn't this, like, a game...? it pretty much is... city of heroes and villains? i've played it... no matter, i loved it. it was fun. good concept
back on topic, i want to be someone who can have total power over time... freeze, rewind and fast-forward individuals, specific areas, the world...no cliche costumes with big clocks on it, just casual clothse and a wristwatch, but sunglasses too... yeah... and, i guess i'd wanna be a hero.
Costume: Black zipper hoodie, dark, baggy jeans, black Vans.
Powers: Psycho-kinetic control of things pertaining to earth, ex. rocks, dirt, sand, and at times when power levels are at their peak(depends on gravitational pull of the moon and sun on the Earth), can cause earthquakes.
Photokinesis is just cool and making your hands glow and fire pulses of gamma rays is just awesome.
You aren't affected by gamma radiation, correct? Would be dangerous if you were.
Yeah, neutral is fine. Actually, from now on try using a four point alignment method. Villain, Hero, Chaos, and Lawful. For instance, spiderman or superman would be a good lawful, while as the guy who only wants to get what he wants would be a nuetral nuetral, someone who wants to get money through destruction and mayhem would be a nuetral chaos, and a person who would want to destroy the world, simply because he could, would be a villanous evil. Villanous lawful would be a villain with extreme sense of honor and ways of doing things. Like a ninja who has been disciplined in all ways or forms. A good chaos would be like those guys in Afghanistan who kill and destroy because they see it as right.

yes, this hypothetical was inspired from CoX. Of which I'm deeply in love with atm. However this is just for the people who haven't played it, ans so far there's some interesting answers here~
Cool. My kind of neutral is more spastic though, because my character's emotions are also affected by the grav-pull of moon and sun. Like, daytime, he would probably be good/chaotic, and at nighttime he would be evil/lawful, or some other variation involving more complex levels of right and wrong.

Ah, I see, that's very interesting, it be ^^
but you realize that this is not a character, but what YOU, YOURSELF, would be like if you lived in this city. So you would be a neutral spastic and have your emotions affect by the grav-pull of the moon and sun?
Outfit: Nice silver chainmail suit. On top of that would be a Dual Tesla coil backpack producing 1.5 million colts and 250,000 watts of electricity and full bulletproof vest and pants. Titanium-Copper-Silver alloy chainmail gloves and army boots. Finally what I call the lightning cannon. It's a double barreled 40mm electrostatic gun.
Powers: The ability to control electricity in all its forms. However, I cannot produce my own electricity.
