So I can't say that I have been around since the days of Game of Gondor, but I am hopeing with some assistance from people who know the details of Armor Games past that I can make a reformed version of the ideas I had in the Armor Politics thread. I realized that it would be more fitting to show Armor Games in a more medieval way, like how it is themed to be. I wanted to expand on some ideas that I saw in Strops map, create metaphors about how Armor Games has grown and faced trials from the days of Games of Gondor to the present, all while telling its history in a detailed manner. The idea is to present it in a documentary style, and that it is being taught a 1000 years later based off of artifacts, and such so in case anything were to be inaccurate, then a new part can be added to the story saying something like how "they have found new evidence that points to something else" or something like. Its meant to be something fictional, while based on real facts. This is simply a concept I have right now so I would appreciate if you guys tell me what you all think about it.

Yeah, I can't think of any others either. I did play on GoG...but I wasn't part of the community there...

This sounds like a neat idea. I have a good recall of the main events since about April 2008, but wasn't active before then, unfortunately.

If I may say so it might even help me with my own project, which doesn't focus on the detailed history so much as showing features of the forum dynamic.

hmm I don't think Games of Gondor even had a community, since I don't remember AG v1.0 having one either when I played on it. The main thing I need to know is what it looked like to get an idea of what type of place it was.

Right then so then I have decided to make an attempt at creating this concept here:

The History of the Armorlands

So I think this thread(the one you are reading this in and not the one in the link of course) can be locked now, though any detailed information I may need(especially concerning the switch foot incident) I may just drop by peoples profiles at random to question them about it....now I wonder how many people actually know detailed info on it.
