The result of overpopulation in the NES was not a good one. Thre unsanity was stretched thin, and lost on most. Only Alt, Chill, Pierce and Mary, Pickle and Shack, and DB still carried it with them, keeping it close to their minds. They left progressively as they tired of the boredom. . . . P: We're finally out. . . . Alt: Yeah. . .being the god of the NES was too much. I'll let that place kick it's own ass as it's dying. M; Heh, yeah. *slaps P* P: What was that for? M: . . . . P: . . . . Chill: Another ellipsis battle. M: . . . . P: . . . . Alt: They never end. M: . . . . P: . . . . They left quietly from the NES, determined to never return to it. He let the people with randomness in their heads to change the paradigm- he would only check up rarely. Alt: We're out now. . .should we start something new? Chill: Maybe. . . . Alt: For those deemed unsane, they can continue here. When the Chronicle of the NES hits 100 pages, we shall let it die. They left, to return only rarely as long as the NES lived.
This is a restructure of the Neverending Story. Posts should be NES-style dialogue intermixed with relevant bits of prose. Unsanity and humor is appreciated, and is in fact the entire core and purpose of the thread. All are welcome, unless they spend all of their time trying and epically failing to be funny and unsane through obstreperous randomness.

A: *Falls out of a void of neverending white, landing in the midst of a dense rainforest* Ma: *Rises slowly out of the water, holding an electric guitar, to a point where he is seemingly standing on the surface of the water and plays an epic solo* A: *Covered in scrapes, bruises & other fresh lacerations, Avicus walks out of the forest to join the others* Ma: *Swims to shore to join the others* A: How'd you do that? Ma: Do what? A: I, uh... you... nothing.
Ma: So, whatever my mind conjures up, it materializes? Alt: Whatever you think you want. A >:3 Ma: This could end badly. *A yacht, a mansion and a helicopter materialize from Avicus' sheer will* *A massive waterpark appears from Manta's will, annihilating Avicus' stuff* Ma: 'tis all I need.
*As KingRyan slowly floats down to rest on the beach, the whole scene changes and now the land is a space station and everyone are Jedi*
Ma: *darth vader style* YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! K: Wait...I get it...
*Just as the Death Star begins to explode, the scene changes and KingRyan grows to twice his size and is now holding a machine gun. He then starts shooting everyone*
Kr: I'll be back. But YOU won't! (Arnold Style!) Ma: YAAYY!!! No...waiit.... *gets about 50 bullets in his body*...erk.. K: *dodging the projectiles* SOMEONE WAKE HIM UP!!!!!! THESE ARE HIS DREAMS AND WILL KEEP CHANGING AS HE DREAMS!!!!
*The scene begins to distort and lots of women appear, Kitty roars and tackles KingRyan to the ground, waking him and the women disappear. The land returns to its former state, with the water park etcetera, etcetera, etcetera*
Ma: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *the bullets had disappeared so he was feeling fine* Kr: What? What? What's going on. I was having the most wonderful dream. It was so awes- K: Stop. We. Don't. Want. To. Know. Kr: Whatever....
*Skye squeezes her eyes shut in an attempt to conjure something up*
J: Erm.. You just have to imagine it.
*Skye's face goes red and she shifts back to gorgon*

*The land starts to bubble and boil, mountains rise and erupt, hot springs steam and flow, Skye stands on the tallest collumn of fire, cackling at the others below as the land slowly turns to lava crumbles*
*Manta noms a doughnut* *Kitty noms a Manta* Ma: No! I never imagined this! I wanted a Beluga whale! A Beluga whaaaaaaale!!! *Avicus changes from his text-boy form into a 5-headed dragon, each bearing the face of Brett Favre* A1: RAWR! A2: GRAWR! A3: Miw. A4: *Snoring* A5: Glub. Ma(Muffled): It's chaos! A society where you can have whatever you desire could never work! *Kitty transforms and flies away, Manta still inside* Ma: Oh, God!
