Sooooo. . .we're supposed to make the most disgusting, gory, macabre, gut-wrenching, bloody, visceral, vomit-inducing, fleshy-ribbons-everywhere pic possible, but you're not okay with bad words?
I wonder how much gore is actually allowed within the PG13 range. It can't be much...
I would assume that it is less then the amount shown in the beginning of the movie Saving Private Ryan at least, but I think that animated blood...and well lots of it would be fine, since apparently you guys let that slide with the zombie thread of undead art, unless no mods have ever even looked at the thread that is....

Saving Private Ryan is MA+ which is higher than PG+, so that's not a good benchmark.

I have to say. I never looked at the zombie of undead art thread. It happens. Nobody complained to us about that one.
When it comes to ratings, there is one subsection of gore that appears to make the cut. "Horror violence" and "animated horror violence" can sometimes appear in lower ratings, although this seems to depend entirely on the realism of depiction.
Furthermore what this reflects is that the strange feature with modern culture that bloody violence is somehow okay but sex and nudity isn't. While I'm not here to make a political stand about it, I would like to try and observe at least a little parity when it comes to standards.
However I'm not going to lock a thread without enough reason to back it up, so I'll just say keep in mind that this is still a PG forum, and if we do see content that is age-inappropriate or inappropriate at all we will have to lock this thread and maybe take further action. Since alt seems to think we can trust you guys to handle yourselves:
You underestimated the base intellect of Ag. . . .
Then I say it's nice to be optimistic once in a while and wait for things to play out.
Well, not sure if this means anything, but we seem to be okay with the Dark Cut series.
Then again, those have warnings at the beginning...
But there is the fluffy mcfluffer... fluff fluffent... *pluh* The game about the cat that crushes mice and hamsters... That's... on the border of excessively bloody, no?
Ah yes, we've had this discussion before, a long long time ago- about the nature of the games on this site. Also discussed what should be done about warning kids of content, which is something slightly more recently implemented. So older games might not have that.
We should probably do something about that, along the lines of what Newgrounds have done actually >_>
However forum rules explicitly state PG-13 so we should probably stick to that...
Oh, yeah, NewGrounds has a rating system for it's games, right?
I had forgotten about that. But their forums are... definitely not PG-13. I've had several terrible experiences with links while I was checking out the NG forums to see news about flash games...
