So what does the AG community think about...online dating websites?
Personally I think the person who started these things is a genius. I mean, think about how many people in the world can't get a date in real life. And now, there's some magic way to find people! Yipee!! So you get people to go there, give them 30 days for free, and then match them up with people that they might like. Well they'll get to talking, but since it's online it would be hard to get very commited and really get to know each other. So they go from person to person, until their 30 days are up. Now they have to choose to pay, or quit trying. A lot of them will just give up, it's not working out for them. Or maybe they actually found someone and are doing fine. But then there are the people that don't want to give up on themselves, but haven't found anyone. So they start paying. And just like that you're making a ton of money everyday.
As to how they work, I'd say that they probably work ok for people. I don't have any experience with it, but it just seems like you could possibly make some friends on there. A boyfriend or girlfriend? Maybe. Friends? Probably.
So what do you guys think? Would you ever consider using one if you couldn't seem to find anyone in everyday life? Or do you think it's too weird and you'll just hold out?
well, I personally DID do a free trial for fun. But seeing as you had to be over 18 had to make a fake email....not worth it.
It was funny some of the results you could get though.
I got people that were completely diffrent from me. Like i said i ws not out going, and igot matched with some one a total opposite of me. And they fit none of the physical charecteristics I stated.
So really......they don't work. O, and it said one of my matchs was 67......I SAID I WAS 24! LIKE WTF!

I think it is a way for desperate guy/gals to find love, but why can't you go out there and find it yourself? Why do you have to use a computer to help you?
To be honest, the internet is a great downfall to human relations. Yes, people are more connected, but to others they can not see. People lose touch with those who are actually there and around them.

If that's what they're trying to find, then they shouldn't have trouble seeing someone like that in rl? All they really need to do is go out a few times and find someone..
It's not that much harder to set up a date in rl than on the webs.
