I'm contemplating over whether or not I want to spend money on the Twilight books and start reading them. Some people tell me they are absolutely the best books ever, while others say they are abolutely horrible books. So I want as many peoples opinions as possible.
And make sure you justify why you like or hate the Twilight books. Thanks!
Ok this is my opinion. It is not techneicaly a girl book but it manily for girls. I mean what type of guy would REALLY read a romance novel unless they were really bored. I mean there is I think about 2 guys in my grade that read this series. 100% of the girls have every book, Twilight shirts, bags ,hats ,posters , etc. So like i said if ur a guy and your into this mushy crap, go ahead but if your not dont waste time.

Saw the movie and it was so amazingly terrible. My sister has every book and has read them all about 3 times. I highly recommend not to, but if you want to ruin your life from mental retardation then go ahead.

Ok I don't wanna start a fight but after reading ur repsonse I relized I left a little information out. Everyone in my whole county is bacily hunters , fishers, etc. The so called "Real-Men" jobs or what ever so not alot of the guys in my county are in to that type of stuff.

as a girl, i've actually haven't read the books. for me, its just a bit shallow and unrealistic. i like bram stoker's dracula better, but that's just me.
if you want to read it though, go ahead. i've heard that the book is really good and somewhat addictive, so if you have the time and energy to go squealing after edward, by all means. you'll also get a chance to see what everyone's talking about... other than general terms like "sparkling vampys
I only read the first two, and let met tell you, after the first one (even though the first book itself wasn't that good) you can tell that the other3 books were just quick cash-ins and they were crapilly written, and the storyline slips further into obscurity.

I agree she did ruin the concept of a vampire. I know its a fiction book but in jsut about everyother book vampires are CONSTANLY killing ppl and sucking their blood, not sparkling in the sun and going to the prom.

you totally missunderstood everything i said. It was the way in which you said it that made you a jerk swearing and throwing a hissy fit is no way to state your opinion. and i did not say anything about facts about vampires i said it is fictional so if she wants to change the concept of vampires than that is fine.
you could simply have said i like the trditonal veiw of vampires and that is why i don't like the book. Its going oh they don't _______ing sparkle she _________ized the concept blablabla that makes it being a jerk. If you had said it with out swearing or whatever i would have left it alone.
