Well, for the most part, parents are great to have as they provide a lot for you. Yet they can get really annoying sometimes, as they sometimes stress over things you don't even care too much about or just don't want to do.
I wouldn't know...jerks ditched me with my grandparents, split up (they were never married) and then my mom left my life (not death) and my dad stole my copy of CoD:WaW
Yup, having parents is fun! They make your food, They wash your clothes, etc... But it only lasts until you can take care of yourself on your own and you have your own kid to take care of.

Well it depends on how old you are. Age 2-10 Pretty fun. Age 11-13 They are getting on my nerves. Age 14-16 Oh god I wish they weren't here. Age 17-21 All better now Age 22+ idk lol

Age 41-50 Life goes on, except for you. (it just a joke OK) Age 51-60 getting wiser even too late. Age 61-70 get car accident or homeless.
It depends on the parents really. My mom is pretty cool when she's not drunk and nowadays it's even worse because she's "stressed and depressed" that I don't want anything to do with my so-called family. I'm sorry but everyone's family is not The Brady Bunch and I don't want anything to do with whatever it is I'm surrounded by.

I have a big fight with my parents before I come to China (I'm an Indonesian), but, that's a family dude, they are not perfect, times slowly fix our relationship. Now I'm far from my home, we can have many friends, but no matter how hate I am to my parents, they know me better, and care so much about me, sometimes they angry without realize that they are angry, because they love me so much.
Life goes on, fight your life for the one you love most.
