Hi people, i doubt anyone at all remembers me, but i was an older member that became inactive and moved to the Kongregate art forums. Now I think I'll come here to and listen to some criticism .
newer sigs
older
for the lulz, (my noob ones from when i started)
constructive criticism is VERY accepted. just comment on my newer sigs if your going to criticize.
You need to remember to write credits to the people whose artwork/renders you put in your sigs. Otherwise, technical art theft. (Art used without the authorization of the artists, as well as without giving credit to them.)
yea i made it fst. also zophia i use planet renders to get C4D's, renders and stocks. and all of them give permission. that's why they post them there.

One thing is that it is permitted by them, but you STILL need to post credits.
Just because you're allowed to use it doesn't make it yours. It's still someone else's effort, and on AG, you need to state what you used, from where.
Also, I seem to recall that a lot of renders in those places are made into renders by someone who is in fact not the artist behind the images. Still, the point is, remember to state where you got the image from.
so what your saying is i have to somehow find those exact renders on render planet including all the old ones, just to state there name. meh i come back and am just being driven away. This art forum just seems to be way to strict...especially since ive never seen any sig shop here or anything like that.
why have i never had to do that in the kongregate forums? or any other forum ive joined. just stating that I get my renders from render planet is enough. and ok if i say "this stock was from so and so" noone would care or pay attention. if the owner of the render doesnt want people to use it why post it on render planet
AG might be somewhat more strict on keeping the rules than other sites might be, but getting trouble due to copyright would be a terrible blow to the reputation we have, and if someone refuse to credit their renders, the staff will have to make a move to prevent any crime to happen.
...i still dont see the point itll take me at least an hour to find those renders just for people to scroll down and not even pay attention to them.
It is a piece of advice for next time. Post a link to the website this one time, state that you found the renders there, and move on. Next time, you post the link to the render, and all will be working out nicely. We are not doing this to annoy you, but the staff does not look well upon not crediting the artist or claiming art to be your own when it is not. Therefor, for your own good, just do as asked, and you will not be bothered again.
just stating that I get my renders from render planet is enough.
Point was that you didn't say so to begin with, which you should have.
if the owner of the render doesnt want people to use it why post it on render planet
I don't believe all renders on that site are completely legal, in regards to copyright. But again, the point was just that you should have stated where you got the renders from. Finding the specific ones if they're all from the same render site shouldn't be necessary, though it would be a nice touch.

Given the argument about them not being there, you should have figured out that some people do pay attention to them.
