Yeeessss this is the right section.
I'm making a thread for when I get bored, when the Forums are quiet.
I can post questions in here and give points and whatnot.
I know this is a done thing. But don't you think its fun?
I'll have to give credit to BVoO and Pixie, as they have done threads like this before.

Points go as follows:
Trick questions - One point for the right answer. Two points for an answer I find extremely clever (If possible). Minus a point for a stupid answer. First person to post the right answer gets the point.
Trivia- One point for the right answer. One point for an answer I find extremely clever (If possible). Minus a point for a stupid answer. First person to post the right answer gets the point.

Rules;
1. You can only post one answer for each question, unless I tell you otherwise.
2. No flaming, trolling, spamming etc.
3. If you don't like the game or the thread, don't post!

Here is the trick question:
A man is walking outside in the rain. He does not have an umbrella even though it is pouring outside. Nothing is covering his head, yet his hair doesn't get wet. How is this possible?

Here is the trivia question:
What singer for a 70's British rock quartet changed his name from Frederick Bulsara?

I'm starting with easy questions.

QI/genreal ignorance bonus round :0

Box Jellyfish have eyes very similar to our own however they are permanently out of focus since they don't have the brainpower to alter the hsape of the lense. They also go to sleep at 3pm.

Sorry Pixe.

Triv Q: Jellyfish do NOT have a BRAIN, bones, heart.

The worlds largest known jellyfish can reach a diameter of 2.5 m / 8ft and its tentacles can grow to be half the length of a football field.

Holy fruit I just found this one out:

The box jellyfish has 64 anuses o_0 but since it doesn't have an excretary system, it gets rid of its "waste" through its mouth...

I'll go for the bonus. I'm assuming you know the jellyfish belong to a phylum called cnidarians. Jellyfish come in two shapes: Medusa and Polyp. Box Jellyfish are the most dangerous of all jellyfish. Whoever they sting will scream from when they get stung all the way to a hospital, then they'll have a heart attack.

The box jellfish kills in 3 minutes...I don't think they're going to scream for very long...

Well, depends on how strong the sting is and how fast they receive medical attention (Darn biology teacher with inaccurate information)

Wow guys.
Trick and Trivia go to Gregbyte.
Bonus:

Wow.
Fail for the brainpower.
But one point for the eye thing and half for the sleep thing.
Do they srsly sleep at 3? it sounds ridiculous.

I knew about the brains and heart thing. The length of jellyfish tentacles is AMAZING. one point.

Obviously I can't count that because you found it on the net and you've already posted an answer, but wow. Interesting! (and kinda ttly ewwww)

Don't assume things I don't know. This sounds very... researched. So ima give a point for the screaming box jellyfish sting.

Trick:
In marble walls as white as milk, lined with skin as soft as silk, within a fountain crystal clear, a golden apple does appear.
What am I?

Apparently so... I remember reading it in a Qi book so it must be true >.> at 3pm they go to the floor and stay there till dawn. When it gets darl they become motionless.

What bird has the longest life span?

I would say some kind of parrot since they get to live in captivity, nice and warm
