Yeeessss this is the right section.
I'm making a thread for when I get bored, when the Forums are quiet.
I can post questions in here and give points and whatnot.
I know this is a done thing. But don't you think its fun?
I'll have to give credit to BVoO and Pixie, as they have done threads like this before.

Points go as follows:
Trick questions - One point for the right answer. Two points for an answer I find extremely clever (If possible). Minus a point for a stupid answer. First person to post the right answer gets the point.
Trivia- One point for the right answer. One point for an answer I find extremely clever (If possible). Minus a point for a stupid answer. First person to post the right answer gets the point.

Rules;
1. You can only post one answer for each question, unless I tell you otherwise.
2. No flaming, trolling, spamming etc.
3. If you don't like the game or the thread, don't post!

Here is the trick question:
A man is walking outside in the rain. He does not have an umbrella even though it is pouring outside. Nothing is covering his head, yet his hair doesn't get wet. How is this possible?

Here is the trivia question:
What singer for a 70's British rock quartet changed his name from Frederick Bulsara?

I'm starting with easy questions.

Technically dinosaurs can be considered birds because their cells are so bird-like so the answer is sauropods (they live to 100 years)

but if I have to say a bird then it is the crane, I saw it on TV.

A phoenix, as they are constantly rebourn the ashes and are, in a sense, immortal. How ever, if you look at the rebirth as continuing a new life, then they can still lead pretty long lives, in excess of of 275 years easily.

*cough*Iknow*cough*

in excess of of 275 years easily

Well I'm 612, so... >.>

No it is NOT the phoenix. But a point to Manta for the cleverosity ^^

I'll tell you, one person got it.
Its a Turkey Buzzard.
Pixie gets the point.

ooh i HATE turkey buzzards. We got a colony one year neer our house, and they were so freakin bothersome. The only way to get rid of them is to hang a dead one up on the tree where they roost, but its illegal to kill one

Trick Q:
An anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of another word or phrase. For example, rearrange "none" to get "neon".

It is not considered an anagram if you exchange a letter with the same letter. For example, switching the n's with each other in "noun" does not give an anagram.

Even though a word is not considered an anagram of itself, your task is to find a word that is an anagram of itself.

Trivia Q:
Where does the 1943 film Casablanca take place?

Mav, you got the Triv right.
The Trick is an anagram. That means you re-arrange a word to make a new word. Read the question carefully.

I GOT IT. and i got it wrong... -_-'
it could be the Illuminate diamond epigram, you know, that stamp which can be turned upside down and will still be the same...
i dunno, basically you get the same words by rearranging the letters AND turning them upside down... this is really confusing...
