Yeeessss this is the right section. I'm making a thread for when I get bored, when the Forums are quiet. I can post questions in here and give points and whatnot. I know this is a done thing. But don't you think its fun? I'll have to give credit to BVoO and Pixie, as they have done threads like this before.
Points go as follows: Trick questions - One point for the right answer. Two points for an answer I find extremely clever (If possible). Minus a point for a stupid answer. First person to post the right answer gets the point. Trivia- One point for the right answer. One point for an answer I find extremely clever (If possible). Minus a point for a stupid answer. First person to post the right answer gets the point.
Rules; 1. You can only post one answer for each question, unless I tell you otherwise. 2. No flaming, trolling, spamming etc. 3. If you don't like the game or the thread, don't post!
Here is the trick question: A man is walking outside in the rain. He does not have an umbrella even though it is pouring outside. Nothing is covering his head, yet his hair doesn't get wet. How is this possible?
Here is the trivia question: What singer for a 70's British rock quartet changed his name from Frederick Bulsara?
And it is now midnight Jezz-time > >... Long dinner:P
Oooooops :3
I'ma post questions today instead =]
Trick: The keeper of an apartment has reasons to believe that a thief is lurking around in his apartment. He decides to invite a detective over to his apartment for further investigation on the thief. The detective then is one day pondering in his room when a knock on the door was heard. A man walked in and said "Oops, I thought this was my room, sorry," and left. The detective immediately arrested the man. Why?
Trivia: In what film does what animal trap a cook in his own oven after eating his bird, leaving him to use an axe to rip his way out?* Hint: "You ate ma bird!"
Trick Q: Because due to Newtons Third Law of Motion, Every action has an equal and opposite reaction' the man who walked into the room had a reaction of shock, and the Detective noticed this, and had the opposite reaction of joy thinking, YES I'VE FOUND THE THEIF!
Trivia: The Aftermath Part 3 (Yet to be released!...HAH!)
I think i remember seeing some movie 7 or 8 years ago... it was The blue sea, or the deep blue sea... something like that... I remember the "You ate ma bird!" phrase for some reason and i don't remember what it came from...
the quote if from the 1999 blockbuster, 'Deep Blue see'. Love that movie... --- Why would you knock on your own door if you lived there? seems fishy but cenere kinda said that too...
Trick: The man was the thief. He thought the room was empty and walked in and had to make an excuse as to why he walked into a complete strangers room. He would not have knocked on the door if it was his own room.
I don't care that your not participating Cen, you got it right :P And ehh... Ryan gets the point for being a knowitall.
For the triv question, the film was Deep Blue Sea. It's the bit where the mako shark (or could have been the great white) eats the cook's parrot. The cook climbs into his oven and the shark swims past and flips the on switch with its fin. The cook says hes not getting killed in his own oven, so he uses an axe to chop through the metal top, jumps into the water and swims out the kitchen while the shark is attacking the oven. I asked you not to post pics cuz I have Selachophobia :P It's not fair that I remember every detail of that film!
