With all the news about Michael Jackson lately, I know everyone is wondering this. Do you believe that the accusations of molestation were true, or was it just the plot of a family that wanted quick cash?
I personally believe that he didn't do it. Michael never really had a childhood, so I can see why he would want to make sure that other kids could have a nice one. Yes he admitted to sleeping with them, but I believe he wanted them to feel safe. Since he had a father who was very abusive he would have never felt safe. I joke about the guy, but since his death I've learned a lot more about it and I feel bad for him.
Whether he was guilty of molesting children is really of no consequence anymore. The verdict in the case was not guilty but anyone who is accused of such a crime is haunted by it forever. People form their own opinions and there is no swaying those who believe he was guilty. Personally I have no idea. It can be argued that it was inappropriate for him to sleep next to the children but I tend to think that as long as no inappropriate touching took place it isn't that bad. There is a tendency for people to shun those who are accused of these kinds of crimes even if the accused can offer proof of innocence.
I say no. He might be inappropriate with kids but thats cuz he never got to be a kid and kind of thinks of himself as a child. But I dont think he molested anyone.
he didn't ever molest a child, what happened, was some stupid family lied about a false molestation for the ten million dollara settle ment, do you think they would let him go for 10 million if they could have sued him for MORE? there was no evidence that he molested anyone, they woudl have lost the case and they know it.

I don't think he molested the children, he was a strange man with a lot of money and someone saw an opportunity. He never had much of a childhood and it seemed like he was trying to have one. He did like kids, but I don't think in that way. But, the man is dead now and I don't think we'll ever really know the whole truth of the matter, but in my opinion the man was just strange and rich, and someone saw an opportunity for some quick cash.
I dint think he did it. There is absolutely no proof. And for all you stupid people out there who hate him because you think he did that, then whatever.

The only reason, in my opinion, that they claimed he molested the kids is because they knew they could get easy money out of him. Those types of cases always end up in favor of the plaintiff.

He should be rotting in jail because he wanted to give those kids what he never had in his childhood? Those parents didn't care about anything but money. They knew they could get it from accusing Michael Jackson (everyone's favorite person to hate, by the way!!) of molestation.
I am not sure because i have never really researched it but, I hope him being the King of Pop wasn't used as an excuse to get out of the charges and I think that sooo many people tried to get his money that yes i believe that his family wanted it.

Really? He himself admitted to inviting children into hus bed and that he didn't view that behaviour as innapropriate. If I admitted to doing so today, I'd be behind bars. I do acknowledge that some of the cases against him in his latter years were parents of these children trying to taske him for a ride, but that doesn't rule out all of his prior charges, a few of which, I am sure, were true.

He should be rotting in jail because he broke the law, however noble his intentions. Just because he thought he was doing the right thing doesn't make it right/legal.
Here's a thought to ponder... If MJ had been found guilty and been incarcerated, would he still be alive today? Pros- Constant supervision, regular medical checks, monitoring and possible weaning off the drugs he was (allegedly) on, no 50 concert tour to prepare for, regular meals and so on.. Cons- Prison lifestyle, probable solitary, appeals process and more court cases.. Maybe they'd have done him a favour with a guilty verdict?
