How is this different from D-Day RPG?

Some of you may have participated in my previous WWII era RPG, D-Day. The essentials will remain the same, but I have changed several things.

1. There will always be one choice out of four or five in which you die or get wounded. If you happen to choose that one, don't worry, I'll allow you to go back to your last position a total of 3 times. After that, it's game over. War is hell, and people die. I have to say that some of you chose some fatal mistakes in the last one, but I let them slide. Not anymore.
2. In this RPG you will have an inventory to manage with slots. The Pack Mule perk gives you 8 slots; if you don't have it, then you have 4. To put it into perspective, a handgun or grenade is one slot, and a rifle or submachine gun is 2.
3. You will also have ammo to worry about. China in this time period did not have an economy to speak of, so your guns and ammo are basically what you can salvage. Thankfully, ammo does not count towards your inventory.
4. Remember that you are not limited to the choices I give you. There will almost always be an answer marked "Other," where you can do something different or even do two actions I've given you, provided they don't contradict. Surprise me with your tactical skill! If you are especially creative, you may be rewarded with a new weapon or even a perk.

You manage to find a boy's rags, but the sword doesn't go well with the costume, so you ditch it. Your older soldiers give you a knife and task you to enter the city and open the gates while some of the others offer a diversion.

You enter the city and lay low with your disguise; you blend in with the general poverty of the village. There are soldiers everywhere. Suddenly, you hear shots on the far side of the village, and the soldiers rush towards the location of the shooting. Two guards remain guarding the gate, armed with pistols in their holsters. Do you:

A) Throw your knife at one of them and hope your comrades break the gate down.
B) Approach them like a beggar and try to stab them both.
C) Sit where you are and wait for a better opportunity.
E) Other

Attack the village. Villages mean closer, hand to hand combat, so i'd be playing to my strengths. Tojo has weapons that are better at long range. Ony thing i have to fear are tanks, snipers, and bayonets

You toss the grenade at the first nest, which rips through the group of people there. Quickly you pick up and try to shoot the enemy down. Since you've never shot a gun before, you miss, but the Arisaka's low muzzle flash means that the second nest doesn't see you. The rest of your squad is starting to flank around and about to engage in close combat.

A) Stay where you are and try to snipe.
B) Follow the rest of your squad.
C) Get to the machine gun and man it against the enemy.
D) Other

You head with the others to liberate the village. One of your comrades (Sheng) has entered the village. You go with the others to create a diversion, blasting a hole in the large wooden wall with a satchel charge. Shots ring out and a firefight begins. One of your comrades next to you is shot, dropping a Lee-Enfield Rifle and 50 ammo.

A) Pick up the Lee-Enfield and ammo and try to return fire.
B) Retreat back into the forest.
C) Charge with your sword and hopefully engage in close combat.

I choose option C for it is safer up on the tower, and I have better visual on the enemies. Plus, there are machine guns.

D: I stay where I am and provide covering fire until my squad is close enough to draw their attention and fight them off. Once they're close, I rush towards the MG and help kill the remaining soldiers.

Umm...Papi...you're choosing where you want to attack, not where you want to defend.

I'll join the assault attacking the village, as I have the Master of Disguise perk. I will take a dead enemy's armor and gun and blend in.

Tojo commandos. And also, special demo troops were used to blow holes in the great wall, so it would be farily easy to steal one or 2...

(Rest assured, they did use satchel charges, which were often improvised.)

Name: Malao
Age: 15
Status: Fine
Inventory: Large Sword (2 slots), Lee-Enfield (2 slots)
Ammo: 48
Perks: Kung Fu

You fire off two shots as you and your fellow guerillas dissolve back into the forest. A detachment of soldiers move into the forest in pursuit. Thankfully, you are hidden in the bushes, and taking out your large sword you hack them down easily with your knowledge of Kung Fu. On the other side it sounds like the others have entered through the gate, and a group of the soldiers move out to engage them. There's still quite a few soldiers taking cover guarding the gap in the wall.

A) Stay in the forest and wait for a better opportunity.
B) Move forward into cover again and open fire.
C) Go to the other end with the main force and battle.
D) Try to breach another hole in another part of the wall.
E) Other
