How is this different from D-Day RPG?
Some of you may have participated in my previous WWII era RPG, D-Day. The essentials will remain the same, but I have changed several things.
1. There will always be one choice out of four or five in which you die or get wounded. If you happen to choose that one, don't worry, I'll allow you to go back to your last position a total of 3 times. After that, it's game over. War is hell, and people die. I have to say that some of you chose some fatal mistakes in the last one, but I let them slide. Not anymore. 2. In this RPG you will have an inventory to manage with slots. The Pack Mule perk gives you 8 slots; if you don't have it, then you have 4. To put it into perspective, a handgun or grenade is one slot, and a rifle or submachine gun is 2. 3. You will also have ammo to worry about. China in this time period did not have an economy to speak of, so your guns and ammo are basically what you can salvage. Thankfully, ammo does not count towards your inventory. 4. Remember that you are not limited to the choices I give you. There will almost always be an answer marked "Other," where you can do something different or even do two actions I've given you, provided they don't contradict. Surprise me with your tactical skill! If you are especially creative, you may be rewarded with a new weapon or even a perk.
Name: Tao Age: 14 Status: Wounded in left arm Inventory: Knife (1 slot), Mauser C96 (1 slot) Ammo: 20 pistol ammo Perks: Master of Disguise Lives: 3
Stealthily you approach behind one of the soldiers, and from his holster you take a Mauser C96. At this point, the other soldier sees you, and on impulse you shoot at him. By this time the other soldier has seen you and fires on you with his Chiang Kai-Shek Rifle, hitting you in the left arm and wounding it. Before he can pull the bolt back again and finish you, you shoot the soldier, killing him too. In his pocket is 20 ammo. With all your might you push on the gate with your right shoulder, opening it, and the main force storms in.
A) Stay in the rear of the action and look for a medic. B) Stay in the front of the action with your pistol. C) Pick up the Chiang Kai-Shek Rifle (2 slots) and 60 rifle ammo from the soldiers you killed. D) Other
(jcrulez: Yes, you can, but if you ask them to perform an action or to give you something, they have to consent to it. Also, they have to be on the same battlefield as you.)

You're tasked to destroy their radio to prevent the KMT from knowing about the attack right away. You make your way to the HQ, but there are too many soldiers around. Suddenly there's an explosion, and a burst of gunfire. Soldiers are running out and returning fire on your comrades. A soldier comes and shouts at you to come over quickly.
A) Say you have a post to defend. B) Ignore him and continue into the HQ. C) Follow the soldiers to the fighting. D) Other

Suddenly, a stray bullet hits a bomb, and it sets off the towns weapons dump. The resulting explosion rips a hole in the space time continum, bumping the city, and the thread, to the front of the forums games list.
