Now it's not a competition :P But tell us, if you could, where would you travel to? Would it be Australia or Britain. Or perhaps neither. Perhaps America or... Italy... Give reasons why you'd like to travel there ^^
Awesome country, with an immense and rich cultural and historical background; I've been researching, reading British history for seven years (Since I was eight. What a weird hobby for a young boy you'll agree), and I really really want to see the buildings, monuments with my eyes! I'll give anything to go there! I'll even sleep in Winchester Abbey with all the dead kings and queens if you want, but that's beside the point
And the people there are incredible, judging from the few British people I've met(Thanks Jess! Oh and you too teacher!) I like their efficiency, coolness and calm character! And since I know English the Queen way, what better place to go to? Aussie speak doesnât count, itâs NOT English, itâs, pardon me, Boganlish.
Their universities are great places, if I can, I'll definitely go there to further my stuides. English soccer beats anyone. Period. Arsenal. I'll rather watch fourth-division EPL soccer matches then Australian soccer leagues for goodness' sake.
Well...I've been to Down Under twice, and I got sick twice, asthma on both accounts, nearly got smoked out by a coal train, got soaked by the sudden rain, and got bitten by an angry parrot; the country didn't suit me, nor did it like me -_-|
And yes, you do have nice weather and kangaroes...but those are the only nice things there. Xp
I think I would fail at traveling to Britain but given the choice between GBR and Australia I would have to pick GBR. The weather is better just becasue I couldn't stand the heat. There is a heat wave here at the moment and I am melting... I couldn't put up with that all the time. There are more poisonous things in Australia I like putting on my shoes without fear of dieing. I loe the history of Britain, the food, the accents (except Scouse, Brummie and Welsh). More specifically Yorkshire could be one of the most beauiful places in the world.
Arsenal.
nicho have I ever told you I think you may be some kind of God? >.>

Oh I forgot! I almost picked up Bogan Language and got heatstroke. *Shudders*
I believe we call it "football". :P
To avoid confusion from American football *cough* which they don't even use much footwork. I mean, what's football without tripping and yellow cards? I'll like to see the amount of red cards a rugby player gets if he rams down a football goalie. He'll look like a ketchup bottle.
I like the Manchester accent ^^ (whatever its called =/) I reside in the east. I have a normal suffolk accent. I sometimes say "wart-ah" instead of "water" :P
York... Oh, considering my mum and partner got seriously injured in York, I decided to hate the place. :P kidding
I would go travel to Australia because it is so great country and I much prefer to go to Gold Coast,Queensland.it is awesome place and it has good beach.
I would love to go to Australia more. My favorite band originated from there, AC/DC. Then there's dingos, kangaroos, platypuses, and my favorite, OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE.
BUT, I would argue that Britain has much more history behind it. there's that stuff 200 or 300 years before the 21st century (19th and 18th centuries) where the British were considered all powerful. Then, during WWII, the British remained independent, and fought hard against the Germans. And after the Cold War, they remained independent from the Soviet Union
Neither. I want to go to Russia! Land of General Winter. Of coarse, I wouldn't go there in winter. Preferably summer, nicer and more mild. I like the forests, and the tundras, and the Kremlin. All things I'd want to see.
